We purchased this to go with a new patio set we bought and it is exactly what we were looking for. The umbrella is nice and big, made solid and sturdy and the tilt is easy to use. The material looks like it will hold up to being outdoors for a good while and the color was just as promised. This is a great buy and easy to assemble as well.

I have this in the beach area of my pool- it's handled the Florida sun well and has been in constant use for several months, no issues at all. I have the sand color, so fading isn't much of an issue, but mine still looks like new. It has handled several strong wind days when I forgot to close it, never a problem. The color is as described, and I like that I can take the cloth off if I want to to clean and store for the winter. The mechanism to open and close it works smoothly- overall a great umbrella

we've had three of these, all giving good service. The weak part is the nylon raising/lowering cord. It eventually frays and breaks and is impossible to repair. If they used a stronger cord, the umbrellas would usually last longer.

Please ignore negative reviews on this umbrella. Arrived in perfect condition. Just as expected. This same umbrella at a local box store was $150.00 and I almost spent that before I saw this one on Amazon. Only had it in the back yard for a couple of months now, but zero problems. No complaints about quality either. Tilts as well. Beautiful addition to my outdoor living area.

Suddenly my existing patio umbrella stopped working. It was old and rusting so I needed a new one in a hurry. My first stop was a local Home Depot. All they had left was red ones for over $100.00. This was not going to work for me. Then I thought of Amazon......did a search and found exactly what I needed for under $40.00. I ordered it and received it two days later. The price was right and the color matched my patio chair cushions. Once again Amazon came to my rescue. Thank you.

I should have looked at the other reviews on here, but was in a hurry and ordered without due diligence. Other reviewers have noted this same flaw.We received this umbrella on Wednesday and put it up on Wednesday evening with a patio table to replace an old umbrella that had served us well for several years. Because we do occasionally get high winds, we left the umbrella down for the evening and night. No problem.Thursday afternoon (as I write this review) we are working in the yard adjacent to the patio table and put the umbrella up for shade during breaks. The afternoon is unusually still with only mild (< 10mph) occasional breeze. As we are working we hear a soft 'snapping' sound and turn to find that the lower aluminum pole supporting the umbrella has snapped like a cheap pencil. In less than 24 hours this product has failed under very mild conditions.The aluminum that this umbrella is made with is a very cheap and light gauge of material. This material is not designed for the purpose for which this umbrella is marketed. The only conditions under which this umbrella might find favorable use would be inside - even then, exposed to children it is quite likely this product would fail.I cannot believe that any person or company with any sense of integrity would actually attempt to sell this product as an outdoor umbrella. Were I connected in some fashion with this company, I would be ashamed for this product. It is readily apparent that this product is unfit for its intended use. The continued sale of this product is tantamount to either gross negligence/incompetence or outright fraud.Please, if you are in the market for a market umbrella, do not buy this product. It will fail. Perhaps not at first, but certainly within a short period of time. Do not waste your money or your time.

If the post holding this umbrella up was made any thinner, it would be made of aluminum foil! The post is weak, the mechanism that raises and lowers the umbrella is cheap and flimsy. The umbrella material seems to be solid and of some good quality, but the fabric will outlast the mechanical portions of this umbrella.If you don't want to spend a lot of money. but need an umbrella to get you through a summer or two, this is a good choice. If you're looking for something that will last several seasons, look elsewhere.

So far so good. Not see through, seems sturdy. I like it. Hope it lasts!
