Trojan Paddock Midi Patriot Plus 3D Upvc Door Hinge White * Overall Height: 90mm * Overall Width: 96mm * Adjustable: Yes * The Patriot Plus door hinge here superseded both the older Trojan Midi & Trojan Patriot hinges * The hinges are universal and when you assemble them you simply spin them round to fit either the left or right handing of your door. * Comes complete with a matching top cap to conceal the hinge pin and lock it in place. What You Will Receive: 1 X Hinge 1 X Cover cap 3 X Packers This is the White Trojan Midi patriot plus latest version hinge that now supersedes the Midi & Patriot obsolete hinges and offers a 5mm adjustment in any direction via grub Allen key. It is very similar in dimensions to the previous Midi hinge but is not a direct match for either. You will need to likely re-position new screw fixings and pin holes to suit but is not too difficult with a logical approach. Fitting Tip: To remove the top cover cap you need to look at the hinge from behind I:E look through the gap between the frame and the opening door sash & you will see 2 grub screws to remove first of all. You will see a clear plastic nylon up-stand between the part of the door hinge. To release the cover cap you need to push a blunt instrument into this forcing it down as far as it will go, whilst at the same time pushing it forward towards the half moon shape at the front of the part of the hinge which has a retaining lip flange to secure the 2 parts together. Using your spare hand push it forward and unclip the front part off the lip flange. Once you have moved it forward enough (approx 5mm) it will spring apart. N:B when re-assembling ensure the internal metal part (that the screws go through) has the adjustable Allen head screw head in the holding slot before clipping it back into place otherwise you will find it even more difficult to open again!
