Didn't fit my headboard. The headboard required machine screws, it had threaded inserts to accept a certain size screw. The slots in this were not large enough to fit the hardware required for the headboard; so in the end this was no help to me.I will also point out that if your bed frame and headboard are out of alignment about 1"-4" this should work; the configuration makes sense with a horizontal slot and a vertical slot for adjustment in both directions. However if your bed frame and head board are just out of alignment by a little bit, this is not going to help you.Also be prepared to strip your bed down to the frame to get this and the head board attached. You are most likely not getting this on with the box spring in place.

Plates are sturdy metal. Screws provided were Carriage Screws designed for wooden headboards. If yourS is metal, plan to purchase fully threaded machine screws - as those provided will not tighten. Our headboard had an ornamental foot which further complicated spacing and attachment to the bed frame. Not designed for anyone who us impatient or who has only one set of hands. Installation certainly far easier with before placement of the boxsprings and mattress on the frame.

I ordered a new headboard that had vertical groves yet the horizontal pins were missing for a hook-on type bed frame. This assembly made the job easy to attach my metal frame to my wooden headboard without having to drill any holes into the headboard!

I used these on an 1880s head and footboard set that utilized a modern frame. I wanted to attach them using a few holes as possible in the boards. So far, it's working well. It's all quite sturdy. I used the short bolts to attach the plates to the boards, and the original hex bolts and cups that came with the frame (hole spacing was spot on).

My product came in an opened box. There are no long bolts, wrench and only half of the nuts & washers were in the bag (plus I had 8 small screws inside the bag and serve no purpose for putting a headboard on). VERY disappointed as now I have to go to the hardware store and get the long bolts that were already promised to me.

I needed to adjust the queen bedframe to a full headboard. It worked very well and having everything I needed in the package was great. I did not have to buy a separate pkg of screws, nuts etc.

Purchased these to covert full headboard and footboard to queen frame. Had to purchase separate bolts because the ones included were way to long. The metal appears to be a little thinner than the actual bed frame, making it a little wobbly.

Okay how is it that headboard brackets that come with the headboard don't fit the dang headboard !?Bought these for their sturdiness and universality and they did not disappoint. Let's see how well they hold up over time
