Leaps & Bounds Wiggle Bug Cat Toy

My cat loves this toy. She is not much a playful cat with toys nor has any interest to play with toys at all. BUT she loves her wiggle bug! She gets really into it with the wiggle bug. Its durable, set of batteries lasts a while for play time, however, my cat enjoys it so much we had to replace batteries twice. (Leaving it on for hours at a time) since our baby likes this toy so much, we got her a total of three now and she just goes nuts. Glad we came across the wiggle bug.

This SHOULD have been a good cat toy. It jiggles around when turned on. Nevertheless, my cats had only passing interest in it.

I didn't realize when I ordered this that it would require me to have a toolbox. I spent over 15 minutes trying to get the back cover open to install the batteries that came with the toy.Yes, that's right: Batteries are not already in the toy when it arrives, but if you have an eyeglass repair kit or a well-stocked toolbox, you'll be fine.As for me, I'm on what feels like day a million of my COVID-19 self isolation and it's not really an option to make an unnecessary trip to the drug store to purchase a small Phillips screwdriver. I already spent $12 and several weeks waiting for this to arrive. Waste of time and money until I can get the right tool to install the batteries.

My cats both liked this, but it didn't really move much on our tiled floor, because of the slight grooves in the floor. Unless you have a completely flat floor this is probably not worth it. Wouldn't work at all on carpet.

Not sure if the batteries are bad. It works for about 2 seconds then stops. You need a really small phillips screwdriver. Really small. I would not buy this again. Nor would I recommend it if you are wanting it for the motion. My cat will play with with out the motion. OMG! Our very active, very predatory cat loves this thing. We hide it, put it in the bathtub and let it circle, he goe crazy. worth every penny

It works, is not too intense (not too loud or strongly vibrating, nor too fast). The cat is somewhat interested and not scared of it. Other bug-like battery operated toys do better. These toys are a hit or miss gamble with the cat. So far, the best I've found is Whisker City Crawling Bug Cat Toy at a national pet store chain.

It is such a great toy. Im afraid the i like it more than my cat but it is a wonderful toy.
