Youngman's have always and been value for money since I can remember.Really sturdy piece of kit

I recognise Youngman as an established construction brand. I purchased for diy use. I found it light, strong and stable. I am 6’2” and 17 stone. No problem standing on this with heavy items. May be a different story if you want to use daily for heavy duty building site use (as some other reviews state). Mid range price for mid range use in my opinion. It calls itself an “odd job” in fairness. 🧐

Not sure what some of the other reviewers received, but these are great. They aren't flimsy as some have said, they don't wobble or flex (I'm 16 stone, and they take me with tools and a lot of grunt when I'm working from them).I got them because of their unique catch system. It's so much easier to close them down, even with one hand.I've had several different makes over the years (a few of which folded under the strain of use. Should've made sure they had a SWL of 150Kg or more), and as a tradesman, I really put them through their paces.These are definitely in the group of the better ones I've owned. If they did the wider ones with the same catch system, I'd definitely buy them.

Bought to help with cleaning the car roof, changing light bulbs, house decorating, etcetera. The main drawback is that if you don't have a good sense of balance you can only use it where there is something to hold onto. However, it's a strong well-made item, should last a long time, and would be useful for well-balanced people.

Nothing to dislike easy to fold value for money nice weight

Extremely good quality and great design. The bearing click lock is so much better than the cheaper rotating catch.Total confidence working with this.

iTS BRILLIANT. So far I’ve used it to paint the top of my fences trim my bushes and paint my kitchen. So easy and much easier than struggling with a ladder. Its small enough to enable me to work in confined spaces. It’s something I didn’t think I needed but now I have one it’s made my life so much easier.

Bought this to replace a set of aluminium steps where the hinges were parting company due I assume to one large yeti jumping up and down on it.These are so much sturdier and whilst not as tall the longer platform means it’s less like a balancing act.A little bit more money but we’ll worth it.
