Awesome hat for the price
For the price, Epoch makes some pretty darn nice hats. I own an Epoch paper straw pork pie and love it, as well. But if you're thinking this is a Humphrey Bogart, gangster-style, fedora, it isn't. Technically, this hat is a trilby -- it has a shorter crown and a stingier snap brim (that shouldn't be turned down in the front) than what most people think of when they think of a fedora. This is the style of hat that became popular in the 1950s and reached it's zenith in the early 1960s -- think Mad Men rather than The Maltese Falcon.The hat itself is really quite nice. It looks like a hat that cost much more than 20 bucks. It's not stiff by any means and very light and comfortable. It's perfect for summer. The brim isn't crooked, which is common with inexpensive hats, and the diamond crown is well defined and holds its shape.The sizing runs pretty small, though. I go between 7 1/8 and 7 1/4 depending on the hat. My Epoch pork pie is a s/m and is almost too large for me. I originally ordered this hat in s/m and could barely get it on my head. Exchanged it for the l/xl and it fits prefect, if a bit snug. I'd say if you're larger than a 7 1/4 this hat probably won't fit you.Epoch are nice hats that are very inexpensive. Granted, nobody will mistake this for a Stetson or Biltmore straw fedora, however a Biltmore will run you well over 100 bucks more than what this hat costs. But this is still a very attractive hat and you will get compliments when you wear it.

Sweet lid sometimes REVISED REVIEW
REVISED REVIEW..Ordered a 2nd one because I liked the first hat I bought. The second one did not fit as well(a little smaller) and the first one had an adjustment strings to use as a size reducer,the 2nd one did not. The feather on the second one was bent. Really liked the first one but not that pleased with the secondReceived today and for the low cost I'm really impressed ! L/XL fits well with a little adjustment (I take a 7 3/8). I may order another one just in case something happens to this one. Lets see how the hat wears over time but so far I'm more than pleases.Also the hat was packaged in a box and came to me in great shape

I bought 3 at a time.
Hats are very hard to get a consistent size over a product line. These hats are really nice for the money. This hat in natural fit a little large. I bought the small/medium size but when it arrived it was a little big. Probably more of a 7 1/4-7 3/8 size. The other two hats fit perfectly. Shipping was fast. The blue hat and the grey hat ran true to size. I wear a 7 1/8 or 56cm.

Nice and comfortable hat.
Hat looks good. Not sure about durability yet. My head is between 7 1/2 - 7 5/8 and this XL hat fits like it was made for me.
