Lone Wolf Leatherworking: A Complete How-To Manual

I just received this book today. I flipped through it and have a really good impression so far. The instructions are more of a narrative so if that is how you learn best you will love this book. The instructions are well laid out and in depth. It is not photo heavy and the ones that are there are not large, so if you learn better by seeing it demonstrated this might not be the book for you. There are a good mix of braiding projects and flat sewing so you can bring different techniques into your leather skill set. Overall I am happy with this purchase and would recommend to someone who has already gotten the very basics down pat.

It goes into leather working information I haven't received from others. Briefly.$25.oo is still too much for it unless you have NO ideas for yourself.,Ideas given is too brief also for the price.

Instructions okay, could be more in depth. I expected more from this book, but maybe just my expectations were high. I thought it would have more advanced projects. Pretty good overall.

I'm not sure I'll get into leather working or not, but this book sure makes me want to. Beautiful photos and fun writing style.

Easy to understand and gives you an easy way to start in your leather working jounery

I was looking for a beginner leatherworking book (not leather carving or stamping), mostly for fundamentals of the craft, as well as some project ideas. I'm more of a visual learner, and this book is BLOCKS of text for the intro sections. It made my head spin. It is well written, and if you find that reading instructions without a lot of diagrams is how you learn best, then this book is probably a great buy. The projects were varied and interesting, nothing felt "crafty" or looked amateur, but it just wasn't what I was looking for in an intro book

Book is a good reference book to have around for beginning leather crafters.
