Sports fan? - this is for you!
This HDMI multiviewer does exactly what I want! I love to watch sports outside under my carport. I have multiple Fire sticks connected so I can stream 4 different games at the same time. I have not tested it under any other screen settings (2 sources only, for example). I am also not a gamer. I do not know how it handles games. If you want to watch sports with 4 on the screen at a time, then this is a great option. The price at the time of this review is $51.00. This seems comparable to others.

Works as intended
We've tried various other multi viewers in the past and they've never worked right. This is the first one that actually has. It does what it says it does. We use it to split the screen for gaming, but it can do more than that. Setup was simple and it comes with a remote control. I'd recommend this.

Riuiin HDMI 4X1 Multi-Viewer - Many Features but Mixed Results
This Riuiin HDMI Multi-Viewer has a lot of features and capabilities which I was not able to test fully. I purchased this mainly to have multiple servers and PC's connected to one monitor so I could save space. The potential to be able to display the output of multiple P.C.'s on one monitor simultaneously is very enticing. The problem I encountered was that all the input PC's/servers would not stay connected and displayed on the screen. Sometimes one, or more, of the displayed PC's would drop off the display monitor. This seemed to be more true when the screensaver function was enabled. I am using Windows 10, Windows 7, and Server 2012 OS. In order to get the displays back I had to restart the PC's. This got to be time consuming. The display would revert to displaying the output of the last PC/Server I initiated.I tried the feature of displaying the output of one PC on multiple monitors. It took a little tweaking of the display feature on Windows 10 and Windows 7 OS's but it did work. I set it up to have an extended desktop on multiple 32 inch displays. The quality was adequate for the office work I do and video editing.I didn't try to display multiple 4K videos simultaneously. I did try displaying two 1080p videos simultaneously with mostly good results. There was a little harshness and graininess when displaying high speed action scenes which might be objectionable when displaying on multiple connected large monitors or displays (like 50+ inches). My systems graphics cards are not set up for high frame rate video gaming to test the capabilities of the viewer so I will have to leave that to other reviewers. In conclusion, this Riuiin HDMI 4X1 Multi-Viewer works well for displaying the output of one PC/Server on multiple monitors. It doesn't work that well for displaying the output of multiple PC's on one monitor which is the main reason I got this for. If that problem could be fixed, I would give this 5 stars.

Good concept
I'm not totally sure how to rate this. It's a good concept especially on big sports days where they are all on at the same time but the only problem is, you'd need 4 cable boxes, or sources. Most people don't have access to 4 boxes for one tv. Once I was able to connect 4 sources, cable box, ps5, laptop and a phone, the unit kept shocking me and then shut off. In theory, it's a good concept, but I'd only use it on occasion, not everyday. Video wise, it's decent quality, but if you're ever going to play video games on it, don't. It's too laggy for timing based games and sound doesn't sync up. Good idea, OK execution.

Not for gaming
Horrible latency, I shouldn't have bought this

Works well, very interesting modes
Hooked up four 1080p devices into a single monitor for a testing setup. Switching is fast, and multiview modes work without dropping resolution. Remote control is small but functional. No upscaling - 1080p input only. Very useful for monitoring multiple sources at once in real time without needing four separate displays. Would be really useful for monitoring multiple NVRs or similar simple HDMI output devices. Has a good deal of input delay when compositing multiple sources obviously but is a very interesting tool with some niche use cases.

A 4x1 HDMI switch and more! See it all.
The multiviewer is an interesting unit. Very nice if you want to watch multiple things at one time and for the price, a decent 4x1 HDMI switch. Love it!I've not perceived any real degradation in video quality, though I'm not using in a theater type environment... but I may after seeing what it is capable of doing. Most of it was intuitive and works right out of the box. I did have to consult the manual to see what was going on with audio as it did seem to be switching. Turns out, my fault as I was treating the infrared remote as a RF remote. Once you actually point it at the box, it worked fine.Liked:- nice solid construction- easily controlled all video inputs- can switch the audio to another input if needed- will work as a simple 4x1 HDMI switch- remote with easy to see buttonsCould be better:- the remote, it is infrared and not RF- the remote, not real strong, I had to point it right at the box. Pointing it any other direction even several feet away would not work.- aspect ratio. It stretches the aspect ratio so you may not really use it as much as you think. I personally would not want to watch it in side-by-side (2 input only) mode. Would be nice if it had the ability for you to keep the aspect ratio even though the video is smaller. For the cost, it is a great value. Currently I'm using it to watch my surveillance system with Google TV. :-) Yes, two inputs on the 4 input screen to keep the aspect ratio sort of normal.

Many possibilities
I am using this for my multi camera viewing battle station. I also have one that is a quad view KVM. I will have 4 PC instances in a virtual machine host, each with it's own low end GPU with at least 2 outputs. one goes here so I can see all 4, the other goes to the KVM and I can focus on and control an individual camera. This is going to take some time to set up, so i tested the unit with 4 HDMI sources and everything seems to be in order. I may or may not end up using the remote. This is a very handy unit with many possibilities, recording 4 camera feeds at once comes to mind as well.
