About as ideal as you can get - JUST RIGHT!
This keyboard is not fancy; not a lot of bells and whistles, but it is also not basic. Just an amazingly functional and comfortable everyday driver. It is attractive in a minimalistic sort of way, including excellent WHITE backlighting that rivals the keyboard on my MacBook Pro's built-in keyboard. I never have trouble seeing the key legends in the dark - not too bright, not too dark. The feel is a nice compromise between a linear smooth-action switch and a brown switch with a very slight "bump" at about half way through the travel. It isn't quite silent, but it is not loud either. A comforting "thock thock" sound coupled with the tactile bump makes this the most accurate keyboard I've ever used. And build quality is good - it isn't a tank, but it doesn't feel cheap either. Again, the whole package is "just right". A highly recommended, handsome workhorse.

Fits PERFECTLY over MacBook Pro built-in keyboard
I'm mostly comparing this to the Nuphy Air 60 v2, but I also have various logitech MX keyboards (both membrane and low-profile mechanical).Shockingly, the Satechi is my preferred keyboard out of all the ones I've ever owned – not just at this price point, but at any price point. It's genuinely my favorite. It feels BEAUTIFUL to type on – just so crisp, responsive, and I make virtually zero typing mistakes with it somehow.Backlight could be a little bit brighter, but it's still brighter than the backlight on my logitech keyboards. I think I just like having an unusually light backlight. Can't speak to battery life beyond the fact that it hasn't been an issue for me whatsoever, and it's super easy to just plug in both to charge (and to use in wired mode). Speaking of connection options, I had no issues with using it over Bluetooth, but mostly I've been connecting via the 2.4gHz receiver and have been very pleased with that. The 75% size of the keyboard is truly ideal. I never use the number pad on keyboards and usually just find it annoying that it takes up space on the righthand side of my desk where I'd want my mouse to go, so I usually prefer keyboards around the same size as the Satechi.Lastly, I can't believe this isn't mentioned in any of their marketing (that I see at least), but the keyboard was designed to fit PERFECTLY on top of the built-in MacBook Pro keyboard if you're using the laptop as your screen (as opposed to a monitor). Satechi did a much better job with this than Nuphy does, even though Nuphy talks about it a lot in their marketing materials, because Satechi had the brilliant insight that by making 2 of the keyboard "feet" horizontal and the other 2 vertical, the keyboard can't slide around on your laptop in any direction. Nuphy has all 4 of the keyboard feet set up in the same direction, so there's one axis (parallel to the keyboard) where it can slide around and press on your built in keyboards keys.Overall, buying this keyboard was 100% worth the argument I had to have with my wife about me buying too many keyboards, and that's really saying something.

Excellent feel, pleasant sound, not the best visibility unless backlit
This is my first mechanical keyboard, and I like it a lot. Here is a breakdown. What I like:- Feel: both light and crisp. It it taller than non-mechanical keyboards, and this took a little adjustment but has not been bothersome since. My favorite compared to many previous keyboards.- Sound: distinct clicking that is not too loud. My preference in general is for quiet or silent, but this grows on me as I use it.- Battery life: lost count of days and haven’t had to recharge. No complaints here. What I don’t like, or like less:- Visibility: the key markings are not especially visible. Other things being equal I prefer to turn backlighting off, but with these I use it except in very bright light. The Satechi portable (non-mechanical) keyboard that I used previously seemed better in this regard, as does the portable keyboard from Logitech that I use away from home.- Markings: Numbers and symbols are shown side-by-side on the number keys, with no difference in size or prominence. I find it more helpful when secondary functions are less prominent.Overall: Despite niggling issues noted above, I find this keyboard pleasant to use and do not regret the purchase. If quarter-stars were allowed I’d perhaps rate it 4.75, but as things are I’m comfortable giving it 5 out of 5. Unless complete silence or good visibility without backlighting are highest priorities, I think this could be a good choice.

Good addition to your collection of keyboards
This is a decent keyboard for the price. It connects to my Mac easily and it looks great in my desk setup. The keys can be pressed very easily with barely any pressure, which does take some getting used to if you use other keyboards. In terms of the noise, the keys have a nice but not too loud sound while typing. It is a nice weight.

Really Great Keyboard
I've been using this keyboard for a couple of weeks now. I'm really enjoying it. It is very well built, connects to my Mac easily, and has a great typing experience. The brown switches have a really nice click feel and sound which is just about perfect. Highly recomemnded!

Sleek design and works great!
It is slim and sleek in design. I like the feel of the mechanical and tactile keyboard without it being too loud, and this is perfect! Feels good to type on and it was plug and play on my Windows 11 computer, turned it on and it connected right away. It is true that the backlights only stay on for about 30 seconds, however, if you connect it via wired, the backlights will stay on until you turn them off.
