Really liked that it is light weight and vented for air flow. The back flap is long enough to partially cover shoulders and chin strap keeps any gusts of wind from blowing the hat off. The brim is stiff enough to stay put for shade but flexible enough to bend and not be knocked off when bumping into things. Florida sun is brutal and this is best sun hat I’ve used for working in yard.

Good hat. Keeps the sun out of your face. Light weight and breathable. Highly recommend.

These are inexpensive and very handy for vacations or hiking and yard work. Came in very handy on a trip to Southern Utah for husband and wife. They are sturdy and provide good shade. The straps hold them down in wind well. The neck flap can really overheat you. There are Velcro tabs (one is hidden in band) to get it off your neck. I prefer my straw sombrero, but it’s not practical for traveling or camping.

I have a small head, so when I pull the adjustment band to get it tight enough to stay on, it pulls the brim into weird shapes. Otherwise it seems like it's good quality and will work perfectly well for people with normal to larger heads. The neck flap is easy to roll up and stow under the brim. The brim is nice and wide and the pale color will deflect the sun so you'll stay cooler. If you want the cooling effect, don't choose a dark color; you'll wind up hotter. Unfortunately I'm returning this one as it just doesn't fit right.

I t is extremely light weight, and very comfortable to wear! And it really protects your head, face, and neck from any UV ray exposure from the Sun!

This item I’m using for Golf to supplement my equipment in those heat months and lots of sun. I’m loving the product high ventilation kiss my head cold, but also protect it. I love the flap because it actually can be talked into the hat when I don’t need it can you recommend it, and when you unfolded from your golf bag, it is not wrinkle. Very good product. I’m loving it.

This is a great hat. Perhaps not the most fashionable, but if you're looking for sun protection this is a good choice. The hat is light weight, has mesh around your head so it breathes well, and if it's really sunny you can use the optional neck protector. The wide brim alone offers good sun protection, but if the sun is beating down, unroll the neck protector and give yourself some more shade. Perfect for the beach, or outside work or play. I hate slathering on sun screen, so this offers protection without that greasy feeling. My head measures 23 inches around, and it's a good fit with the elastic band all the way out. I'd say I'm at the limit of comfort though. I person with a 23.5 or 24 inch head may be okay, but anything larger I think would be too tight. If you have a smaller head, then no worries.

I bought this for my trip to Kenya (which is right at the equator, the sun hits differently out there) and it protected me very well from the sun. I am happy that I bought the hat with the back protection because it saved my neck from getting sun burned. Everyone else that was on the trip with me didn't have that and they all burned the back of their necks, we were out there building a school out in nyeri which is a small town in the middle of Kenya. The hat stayed on the whole time and I had no problem with it falling off because of the strap it comes with. It was very comfortable and breathable so I didn't have a sweaty head like other people that bought non mesh hats. Im sure this is great for fishing/construction/hiking or any other outdoor activities.

I really like the the UV protection, the ventilation and the neck coverage. I bought this hat as part of a retirement gift for my brother. It pairs perfectly with his new boat!

Bought this hat for use on my allotment. It is a well made Hat with a large Brim and ventillated top that keeps your head cool. The addition of the Neck Flap is useful when working bending down or kneeling. Highly Recommended have purhased a second one for use when going out on Hot Days

I was unsure whether this would fit my head as I'm 193cm and have a thicc head. The bloody thing actually fits, and is comfortable enough to wear for 8 hours straight. The back flap could be a bit longer to fully cover my neck, so 4.75/5 stars. Still worth every penny

A lightweight hat that provides good UV protection. It also is well ventilated and the neck protection is vital for long exposure to the elements. The brim is firm enough to stop flexing in moderate breeze as well.
