Deadpool: Breaking the Fourth Wall [Good Smile Company][Japan import]

First off, as you can see, I don't have the "Verified Purchase" status because, as you can probably gather from the date I'm writing this, I had received this as a Christmas present from my parents having suggested it to them. I'm giving this a 3 star rating as opposed to the 5 star I feel it deserves for one simple reason.That reason? Because some of the pieces simply just don't fit together as they should, unfortunately, and in some cases the pieces have different cuts altogether.The best example of that were the katanas on his back. (Items A and I in the image above) The cut on the katanas (I) themselves were a circle with a small line. The slot on his back (A) that they were supposed to slot into was a straight rectangle. Now, I'm pretty confident that I don't need to explain why that is fundamentally wrong. To make it worse, the actual "line" attached to the circle was both wider and longer than the rectangle they were supposed to fit into. There were also similar issues with some of the pieces (Items J to N in the image above) where, like A and I, the cuts weren't entirely accurate.Luckily, my father is pretty handy with a scalpel/modelling knife so was able to use that in order to modify the figure and pieces themselves so, despite the instructions advising against "Applying force" to the product, then that was definitely a requirement.So, I'm just leaving this review as a warning to others who might be keen on this product. As I say, I feel this product ABSOLUTELY deserves a 5 star rating for the end product. I absolutely love it. Had I received it in the finished state then 5 stars all day. But knowing what modifications it required then I have to knock it down a peg. 1 or 2 stars would probably be fairer but what the hey... it's Christmas.
