I've been searching for a way to manage my muscle pain for years. Although arnica and menthol oil helped a lot, they were only effective for a few hours at a time. This works for at least eight hours and often longer.

The manufacturer seems reputable. That being said, there is a faint garlicky odor that goes away some time after the application. If you're not a smoker or have a decent sense of smell, I think you should surely be able to smell it. It probably doesn't actually go away, but you get nose blind because it penetrates the body. I've heard this from others, that it doesn't actually go away but you can't smell it, however, others can, so that's why I'm going to test it only on days off.There is one thing I did not like - that I can't find the filtering purity clearly stated in the product description. It would really help establish confidence in the product. Just stating "pharmaceutical grade" isn't enough. DMSO is a powerful chemical and it needs to be pure as possible. If someone saw where they stated it and I missed it, please mention it in your review.So, why I bought this product? I've heard great things, both directly (from customers who used it, while working in a retail store in another country, that sold dmso among other things) and indirectly aka online. Directly, I've typically heard about it being used for pain management in chronic conditions. This kind of makes sense because it has a history of being used in race horses for injuries. Online, there are all sorts of claims though. Some I really want to test. I am tardy with my updates, but I DO eventually update my reviews whenever there's something worth updating, so if you're curious, check in a couple of weeks or months.

I read one review that said this was not DMSO; I was worried. However, the product is EXACTLY as described. Product contains what it claims. I am pleased with product. Product is in glass bottle with high quality glass eye dropper.

Sometimes I get leg cramps, particularly the tendon on the front of the ankle, lower leg will tighten up and bring on sudden pain when I'm sleeping even though I do take Magnesium tablets. A few days ago early in the morning both legs tendons became very painful & were tight protruding outwardly. I opened the new bottle and carefully used a few drops on both pain areas of lower legs. Within around 4 minutes the pain was almost gone. For 40 years I've been dealing with is pain & I've never had such fast pain relief! The best ever!

It leaves a sticky film on skin. Got all over my sheets and clothes.I usually make my own using aloe, dmso and essential oil. Will go back to that.

Don't be fooled by negative reviews.Doesn't smell like garlic. Dripper works just fine if you squeeze twice. Only solidifies in cold temperature.Great for strains and sprainsLately, I have been using if for a broken ankle and peripheral neuropathy. Haven't used any pain medication for the ankle, except for the first 3 days. Also really helps arthritic condition in my handsDoesnt cure neuropathy, of course, but helps. Vitamin B complex, alpha lipid acid and acetyl l carnitine will also help.
