The tortoiseshell approves...
For hotel stays and car rides these work best, but I do scoop a bit now and then besides. I notice setting these up there's a long side. With the box in front of me or on my lap (it's clean) I pull the outer bag over, then repeat for each of the ten sifting bags, pressing all down periodically. When I was rushed, I discovered I could pull them all over at once, but I don't usually--seems like that's the hard way.Yes, it all poofs out considerably, but after I pour in the litter my tortie pal shows how much she likes that effect. In kittenhood she developed the funny quirk of scratching all around her business in the box, not burying anything--I imagine she hates touching such stuff. But these bags give her material for scratching, she still doesn't pull them off--and she doesn't break the holes in the middle. So, whether these work, depends upon the cat--a lot. When we travel, the whole thing sits inside a contractor bag, with a big mat underneath, and in hotel rooms I place towels around to keep so much litter from tracking. Before the housekeepers collect the towels, I shake scattered and tracked litter back into the box. These are indeed significantly less expensive in pet stores, I've noticed, but I order here anyway, besides buying while detouring shopping centers, not minding paying for the convenience of delivery when we're extending our stay somewhere.

Doesn't sift for "Worlds Best" cat litter
Doesn't work for me either. I purchased the extra large for my 16 x 22 x 6 inch pan. They didn't fit. I had to really pull the elastic to breaking to get it around the pan. The rest of the bag did fit at the bottom of the pan but once you put in 5 bags, it's pretty poofy so I can't imagine what 10 bags in there at once would look like. Also, doesn't sift. I use cat litter named "Worlds Best" and it's really the best but it doesn't go through these holes. I even scooped the box to make sure there weren't clumps clogging it up. Still wouldn't sift through. On the bright side, they are nice and thick for plastic liners so if your litter works with it - and your box is the intended size they are probably pretty good.

Good product but overpriced
The product is exactly as described and using sifting liners is great. Seriously over priced. I buy them elsewhere now.

I was not sure this would work but it does!
I have arthritis in my spine. Using a scoop to clean the litter box is painful. With this, I just pick up the sifting liner and give it a shake and move it around and it takes care of everything. It may not even take a minute to clean the litter box. For the first time in years I don't mind it. I rarely leave reviews but had to on this.

Just doesn’t work.
It sounds like an awesome idea in theory! That’s why I decided to give them a try, but it just doesn’t work. Scooping is easier and less of a hassle than dealing with these bags.

This is the perfect, hard-to-find solution for my dome litter box
This is the perfect, hard-to-find solution for my dome litter box. All of the other sifter liners leave a gap between the pan and the dome, creating a mess if kitty's spray drips out the side of the liner. The Wisker City elastic band allows me to lift the current liner around the bottom of the dome, protecting from over spray.

Buy this!
I purchased this system at a local pet store and was delighted to find it on Amazon Prime. It makes changing the litter box so simple and easy. all you do is lift off the top liner, let the good litter drain back into the box, and toss it in the trash. So simple and much less expensive then sifting litter boxes. Buy it!

Five Stars
So far so good. First product the cat has not ably torn before a box change.
