Great fun, easy to use, and I just ordered more of them
I ordered this toy for my 8-year-old grandson and it’s great! I just ordered 4 more for my other grandchildren, and I look forward to taking them all to the park to play with them.I bought similar toys for my grandkids a couple of years ago, except they were shaped like flying saucers and they didn’t have a remote control. This flying ball toy is even more fun, and is easier to use & keep track of. It works more or less the same way - if you hold your hand or an object underneath the flying ball, a sensor causes it to fly upward to get away from your hand. The remote control is great and makes the toy more fun. As soon as the flying ball gets close to the ground, pressing on the remote control makes the toy fly upward again. It’s very easy for my grandson to keep it in the air, and it never flew higher than about 8 to 10 feet off the ground. When it does crash to the ground, pressing the remote makes the toy fly upward again. Since we’ve had it only a few hours, I can’t say how long it will last. The blades seem flimsy, but crashing to the ground multiple times didn’t hurt it at all. In fact, the instruction booklet even says, “The flying toy is very sturdy!”All of these improvements mean that it can be played with outdoors, and that increases the fun. We waited until dusk, and as it grew darker, it was fun to watch the lights flying around in the air - it looks like flying party lights. My grandson played with it inside for a few minutes to show his parents, and as the toy was hugging the ceiling, a large area of the ceiling looked kind of like disco lights. His 1-year-old baby sister giggled over and over while she watched the lights on the ceiling. The internal battery didn’t have much of a charge when we took the toy out of the box. We thought the toy was a dud at first, because the lights were flashing but it wouldn’t stay in the air. We spent about 15 frustrating minutes trying to get it to work, with no luck. We charged it, and then the toy worked great. (It takes only 20 minutes to charge.) it was my grandson’s bedtime on a school night, so we let it charge only about 10 minutes. After that short charge, he played with it about 20 minutes before it started getting weak.My only suggestion to the manufacturer is that it would be great if they included a bracelet to attach to the remote control - there’s even a hole at the end of the remote for that very purpose. The remote is so small that it will get lost for sure. I tied a piece of ribbon through the hole tonight and hung it on the door knob, but I’ll try to find a stretchy bracelet of some sort, or a lanyard.

Fun while it lasted
The kids played with in inside. Worked great. Was a lot of fun. Went outside, it cleared the house and went up up and away.I will buy again but next time I’ll make sure we play in a football area where we can watch where it goes. All in all kids had a blast

Hard to get the hang of it but once you pass this it’s easy.
My brother and son were very intrigued and couldn’t share properly lmao get that my brother is not young like my son but boys will be boys only thing is it would panic my son but in a positive funny way. I recommend. Sadly I think we lost the charger but hope to find it and this time use it outside. Recommend as a gift or just to spoil your little ones !

Actually Worked Well in a Non-Junky Way
This was the "must have" gift for the Holidays, so I wanted to make sure I got one that worked. I ordered one from Beathaces here and one from Toyk there. They arrived about the same time. They were packaged the same except for the printing on the boxes. They both travelled well and without damage. Both flying balls worked. They are identical except that one has a push button on/off switch and the other has a sliding on/off switch. They both came with USB cables and charged up quickly. Both started and flew well. The Toyk had a remote switch that did not work. The Betheaces had an identical remote that did work. Further, the Betheaces remote worked on both flying balls. That's how similar they are.So, we ended up with two operational flying balls and one operational remote. Decided to play with one ball and hold the other as a spare. The Flying Ball is cool. It does react when you put your hand under it and it has a lot of oomph. When it hits something it turns off and falls to the ground, but both balls took a licking and kept on ticking. The propellers are substantial enough that if you take one to the face it's going to leave a mark, and I wouldn't put it in the hands of a little kid. The eight year old loved it though.
