I admit, I was worried from all the negative reviews left for this heater. But thus far, it has been great. I didn't hook it up. I instead hired an electrician to hook it up. In the USA, it requires 2 hots and the neutral. The electrician thought it was simple to hook-up. It worked immediately. (i could have technically gotten away with a 8/2 wire, instead of running 8/3). I was also worried about the 60 minute timer in it. However, getting up after 60 minutes to turn a knob, really isn't that big of a deal. (maybe some day I will open up the heater, in an attempt to clip some timer wire, so it stays on until I shut it off) For now, it is fine.Though my room is only 4'x5', I opted to go with the 6 amp heater. I wanted the room to heat up quickly. With this heater size, it definitely heats up fast, and maintains the temp with ease. The heater itself looks great. It was super easy to attach to my wall, though I opted for larger screws than what it provided. (it provides two 1 1/2" lag screws, and two 1/2" screws). I instead used two 3" lag screws, and the two included 1 1/2" screws. After some measuring, it slid beautifully into place.Maybe it was the rocks I ordered, but I got nowhere close to the amount of rocks into it that it said I needed. I have about 15 pounds remaining. With that said, it still heats great, so I guess I'm good with it.I will update this review after a couple dozen uses.

Great price, works good, but cycles.

DON"T BUY THIS SAUNA HEATER!!!!!!! It arrived broken. I had a certified electrician install it and he confirmed that it WAS BROKEN. only 2 of the three elements work. It will take 2 hours to heat up a very small sauna space. It also arrived with a big dent in it. The metal is very thin and it is cheaply made. Not recommended at all if you have gone to all the trouble to build a sauna, you should get a heater that actually works. It wouldn't be this one.

Install was fairly easy - just use 2 live and 1 ground. No neutral. She gets hot but the high temp sensor is cutting off power fairly frequently. Im still trying to figure out how to fix this issue so it can get hotter. I'm kind of stuck around 140-150° F.

So I hemmed and hawed over all the heaters on Amazon. I chose the 6kw, my sauna is 5x4.5. Without adding vents (yet) it gets up to about 150! I believe when I add the vents we’ll be at 160. It really is a good buy. I wish there was an indication light that it was on. You cannot go wrong with this heater for a small sauna. One tip… rinse your sauna stones! Man did it smoke! Pulled rocks, rinsed and never had any smoke. Hahah. This is an indoor sauna, I did insulate and also did the foil vapor barrier. I recommend that as well. Enjoy your sauna!!Update- finally found a thermometer that works. Glass chemistry tube on Amazon. If I let me sauna run for 30-40 minutes it gets up to 180-190 degrees. I throw a ton of water on it, I broke the timer, haha, it’s loud but still works.

The media could not be loaded. Works absolutely perfect for my custom 7x4x6’6 pine and cedar sauna built in my basement. I have very little electrical knowledge and was safely and effectively able to hardwire the heater into my breaker panel from 30ft away. It takes around 30 minutes to get up to 190 F while being ventilated below the heater and on the adjacent upper wall.I’ve used the sauna at least 5 times a week for the last 2 months and the heater is consistent and reliable. It’s unbelievable how I can get this sort of quality without spending the big bucks. I highly recommend this product.

I have had it three years and the middle coil stopped working. When I checked with Vevor they said to reach out to Amazon (basically, forget about it). It got to 170 after about an hour and with the middle coil not working I just wanted a replacement. This is similar to most goods nowadays that are made to be disposable.

High quality and durable heater for the sauna
