KORG tiny PIANO

Beautiful little electric piano. My daughter loves it. It will stay in the family forever. Expensive, but worth it.

I am so, so sooooo in love with this little piano. I should be ashamed that I have been stealing it far too much from my daughter . It is, quite simply, a little Korg synth placed inside of Shcroeder's piano. How could you go wrong with that??? The sound presets it comes bundled with are excellent, with the only negative being that there are no synth presets and only traditional acoustic instruments were placed on it, but, come on, it is targetted to be a child's first keyboard. Asking for moog-like analog synths would be insane in an instrument like this. What that should tell you is that this little piano is soooo awesome that trying to find negatives on it I am scratching so hard and so deep that the only one I can find is that it cannot equate to a big boy's analog synth ....I love, love, love, love LOOOOOVE this little piano, I cannot say it enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Korg for once again coming through and making my daughter's first ever keyboard such a joy to play :-)

This is the single best "toy" I have purchased for my son. It's really a solid musical instrument. It does require batteries, but that problem is quickly solved with the use of the panasonic Eneloop batteries. Just buy one or two of the eneloop multipacks with the chargers and you'll always have this thing charged up and ready to go. The battery compartment also locks by means of a phillips screwdriver, preventing toddlers from getting into the battery compartment and potentially swallowing a battery.The tones on this instrument are really quite nice. I have had a number of professional musicians comment positively on the sound quality. The keys are velocity sensitivity, but do not have true 'hammer action', but a person would be hard-pressed to tell the difference on this. They are certainly much better quallity than the average keyboard in this price range.Please note that I purchased the Japanese version of this piano from one of the outside sellers on Amazon. I assume that the US version is identical, but I cannot confirm this. The Japanese version only has Japanese instructions, but, should you lack knowledge of the Japanese language, the english manual's can be found on the internet.There really isn't much to it. Just put in the batteries. Press the on button, choose a tone (or alternatively a song). No need to have advanced knowledge of the Japanese language.I had considered the Schoenhut toy pianos, but most of them have been outsourced to China and are known to have quality issues and potentially could have VOCs, lead paint and so forth. While there are still some Schoenhuts that are made in Germany, they are quite a bit more expensive than this unit. An alternative that looks promising are the Kawaii toy pianos that are made in Japan for the Japanese market. They are also well made.

I love this! We purchased it for our baby girl for her 1st birthday. It is incredibly simple to use and the sound is great. It is totally adorable too. A pleasant surprise was that the first programmed song it plays is Happy Birthday! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a children's piano that actually sounds like a piano. It is quite small - I'd imagine the size is best suited for toddlers and young school aged kids, but I can see older kids having fun with this! I am also glad the keys are suited for little fingers. Couldn't be happier!

This piano is awesome! Only reason for 4/5 stars is because the power times out after about 5 min and my 3 yr old's attention span wasn't long enough during the power on phase. Wall plug is sold separately which I did not see right away until after purchase.

As a trained musician I know that kids need to play on instruments that sound good in order to keep them excited. I first ordered a schoenhut toy grand piano, but it is out of tune, not acceptable and no excuse. I decided to go with this tiny Korg and am very glad. The action on keys is awesome, the sounds are great, and it seems to be very durable. My twin nieces who are two instantly loved it, they will be able to one day use this in their first indie rock band.

This little piano was purchased for our grandson who just turned two. It is the perfect little piano for him...two octaves, great sound, songs included, perfect size. Our son, our grandson's daddy, is impressed with the tone...it's more than a toy piano. It does not just "tink-tink-tink". Thank you, Korg, for making an instrument for little ones that sounds good!!

This electric piano is great because, unlike mechanical pianos, it is always in tune. My 10 month old likes to bang on the keys, so the volume knob is useful to set it at an acceptable level. When you turn it on, it sounds like a high quality toy piano. You can choose alternative sounds and demo songs, but I would be very happy even without these extra features. I wish the red LED did not flash when the batteries get low, because that is kind of annoying. But, the flashing stops when you replace the batteries, so it's no big deal.

Tiene un montón de sonidos de una calidad espectacular. Tiene altavoz incorporado, pero conectado a un altavoz externo suena mucho mejor. Las teclas son pequeñas pero aún así se puede tocar bien. Tiene sensibilidad en als teclas así que puedes tocar más fuerte o más flojo.Aunque sólo tiene dos octavas puedes subir o bajar el rango y permite transposar así que es supercompleto.A mi hija de 3 años le encanta, le queda a mano, es bonito y suena bien así que lo toca a menudo que era el objetivo.Además me encanta a mi y también lo voy tocando y como es fácil de transportar y puede ir a pilas lo puedes llevar a fiestas o cambiarlo fácilmente de sitio cuando vienen amigos y quieren tocar.Un producto fantástico.

Wir haben lange hin- und herüberlegt, ob es nun wirklich ein Korg werden sollte. Der Preis lässt einen dann doch etwas länger darüber nachdenken...Wir haben uns Ende Juli diesen Jahres dann doch dafür entschieden und bereuen es heute immer noch nicht.Unsere Tochter (gerade 1 Jahr geworden) liebt ihr Piano. Und es ist so robust gebaut, dass sie es auch nicht kaputt bekommt, wenn sie einmal mit einem Plastikschwein darauf spielt, oder mit einem Glockenspiel-Klöppel dagegenhaut. Auch das "auf die Tasten setzen" und "mit dem Hintern spielen" hat das Piano ohne Klagen überlebt.Und seit mittlerweile 4 Monaten hat sie raus, wie man es einschaltet und die vorprogrammierten Musikstücke abspielt (die sie dann selbst "begleitet")Unser Tipp: Nicht von dem Preis abschrecken lassen und kaufen! Es eignet sich außerdem auch neben der musikalischen Früherziehung für viele schöne Kinder- und auch Erwachsenenbilder (da wollte jeder schon mal drauf spielen!!)

Cannot praise this piano enough. It is absolutely amazing!- The sound is incredible, accurate pitch, true tone. It is as close to a genuine piano sound as it gets.- The built-in tunes are very tastefully selected and rendered - our daughter plays them non-stop on rotate, and they are pleasant to an ear. The selection is mostly classic with a few nursery rhyme tunes, but instead of being dull and monotonous (as they can be sometimes), they are very nice and wholesome. To give you an idea of what the tunes are: Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker", Mozart's "Rondo alla Turca", Beethoven's "Monlight Sonata", "This Old Man", "London Bridge is Falling Down", "Old McDonald", "Happy Birthday To You", etc.- 25 keys are enough for most nursery rhymes, they are very pleasant to touch.- The key sounds are beautiful, from a true piano to bells and organ.- The piano is of the highest quality: it is solid, sturdy, reasonably heavy, very well built and, hopefully, will last for generations.Would highly recommend for all parents who are looking for a sophisticated toy piano for developing their little one's musical tastes.
