This really should be called a earwax monitoring tool as it doesn't come with any attachment to actually remove earwax. If you want to see what is in your ear, but not be able to remove anything in your ear this is your tool! It took me about an hour to get it to work with my android phone. The setup is not easy and this is primarily because the android app is really poor. I cannot comment on the apple app. First when I tried to scan the barcode for the Android app in the instruction booklet, it would send me to the apple store for the apple app, which does not work on android. So then I went to the app store myself and downloaded said application. After setting up the wifi connection on my phone I used the app. Come to find out the app does not save any settings so you have to manually enter the wifi name and password every time you want to use the device. I also cannot use the modify resolution setting in the app. When you press the button it crashes the app. Every time. That said once I got it working... It took some very nice pictures and video of my ear canal and ear wax. For that it gets 3 stars. The company should consider using a longer USB cord and setting this up to run off windows media player by USB. It would be more dependable and you would get a full screen view.

Look at this image. Crystal clear! I'm thrilled with this otoscope. I am a dentist and there are patient who suffer from TMJ issues. The joint is just in front of the auditory canal. A diagnosis should include an examination of the ear as well as the joint since they are anatomically related. I've used manual otoscopes in the past but have never been able to visualize the ear drum with such clarity and ease. This will become a benchmark instrument for medical professionals.I had a problem, however, with my otoscope where the micro USB attachment at the end of the unit broke. I could not charge it and I was devastated. Such a great tool and within the first couple of uses it was dead.I messaged the manufacturer and told them my problem. I got immediate replies asking to clarify the problem. They think it was a manufacturing defect. Bella was very apologetic and said they will send me another unit right away and told me not to worry about returning the damaged unit. That is excellent service. You can't ask for more.If you have a need to image the ear drum, buy this otoscope today. You will not be disappointed. Again I thank Bella and the company for a great product and the best support.

The product is decent, solid, and easy to use--only once you set it up. I have used mine with an android phone, and the included instructions leave much to be desired. I would recommend you throw them away, and (at least for android) go to the play store for that app and read what other users have said. Only there will you find how to truly make it work on your phone.

The picture quality although compared to some of the other otoscopes i've purchased from amazon is better, it is definitely not 720P, the camera lens do not focus well, and the led's are just too bright to which heats up the tip pretty hot. enough to burn!.

I ordered this a few months back, by the time I got it out to use it for checking ears during a cold, it was too late to return. This would not work at all. There is no Wifi signal, no light. Useless. Spent a lot of time trying to make it work with the App, using helpful reviews as a guide. The instructions are useless, translated from another language. No support available.

It only turned on one time and will no longer turn on. Instructions are very limited as well. I can’t find a way to contact them so I have to return it and wait for a refund to buy another.

The directions are lacking but it works once you figure it out. now my wife is contently checking our kids ears lol. poor kids. the light is bright and the image is clear
