I was a tiny bit worried after reading some of the negative comments, but now that I've opened this baby up, I can't believe anyone would have any issues with it! It is superb in quality!The pattern is super easy to follow. I took a stapler to it to make it more of a booklet I can flip through and not have the center come out, but that was just personal preference. The threads are absolutely beautiful, high quality, vibrant colors with a surprisingly silky feel, and they are nicely organized - with DMC color codes provided, which is a nice bonus! The pattern key is easy to read and follow; its colors and symbols are easily differentiated, unlike many patterns out there. Even the needles provided are a lovely quality that surprised me! And the fabric, too, is of a higher quality than I've been accustomed to in other kits I've done before! They even have stitched the outer edges of the fabric for you so it never frays!I've only barely begun working on it, but I just had to stop in and give this one a glowing review!! I look forward to working on it and I cannot wait to hang this beauty on my wall!

I havent even started on it yet. I'm excited, yet nervous about completing it in time for christmas. It is an absolutely beautiful pattern, but in was not quite prepared for the level of detail involved. I've done really detailed work before, but nothing like this. The threads are nice and so is the fabric. My main complaint is that the pattern is printed on the back of each other. For instance, page 3 is on the back of page 1 and page 5 is on the back of 4. I have to go xerox copies of it so I van see the whole pattern. And, the print is very small, just as the reviews warned before I purchased it. Other than that, I'm really looking forward to working on it

I rarely buy x-stitch kits but wanted to do this design for a friend. Was very pleasantly surprised to see beautiful threads that are similar to color and quality of silk thread. Just loved them and picture on web really doesn’t do them justice so I’ve attached some pictures. Word of warning, the fabric in the kit only provided for about an inch allowance on each edge from finished edge. This makes framing and stretching the finished picture difficult. I prefer working on linen anyway so substituted a piece of fabric with 3” allowance on each edge. Hate to put in all that work and be unable to frame adequately. The price of kit is incredibly reasonable so I don’t feel “cheated” for having to provide my own fabric (and I can use fabric that did come for other projects, it’s of good quality too). Indeed the floss alone would cost more than cost of kit I think so worth the price.

I do love this project. I bought it a few months ago when they shut everything down and it's been keeping me busy. It's very detailed and time-consuming. However, the thread that was included is no where near enough to complete some of the stitches. I've already had to buy more black floss to complete the tree. I think that if I ever complete it, it'll look beautiful.

Shipping was fast. As others have said, there are no instructions. As long as you know the basics about stitching and that a normal stitch uses 2 strands, your fine. Both of the needles I received were useless. The eye of the needle was broken on both, one was so twisted I’m not sure how someone didn’t see it. Only complaint I have.

I love the expanse, the colors, and the subject matter in this kit, but, like others have said : the pattern is almost impossible to follow because of its' size. I am older (78), but my 50 years old daughter could not make out the numbers and symbols. Like others, I will have to take it to a printer or find software online to enlarge the pattern so that I can actually see it. Hence the four stars out of 5.

Beautiful, I am almost done. I didn’t pay attention to how big this was when I started and it will be two years working on it in August. I ran out of one color of thread. If I had to do it over I would have laminated the pattern. Luckily I made a copy when I started so I have a backup after it has been manhandled so much over two years.

This kit is extremely disappointing! I read all the reviews and had high hopes, but it is not at all what I expected. The floss is extremely poor quality and the aida is very stiff - also poor quality. The pattern is insanely small and difficult to read. I took pictures and blew them up, but it is still hard to read and honestly not much fun to work. It is difficult to get the needle through the aida for some reason, and the colors jump around too much so you are doing a single stitch of a color here and a single stitch there, etc. I have quit after putting in a good 8-10 hours because it is so unpleasant to work with. I will not buy from this company again. Waste of money. :(
