10/10 GET IT NOW!!!!
"The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures" is not to be confused with "The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords", which was another Four Swords game bundled with the Gameboy Advance port of the Super Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past". "Four Swords Adventures" is a great game! However, one thing you might notice about this game is that it is not like traditional Zelda games. This one along with "Four Swords" and presumably the upcoming "Triforce Heroes" on the 3DS, is level based. You'll go from level to level collecting "Force Gems" which are the game's replacement for "Rupees". But keeps in mind that you'll need at least 2'000 to advance onto the next level. This may sound difficult but with all your friends running around in different directions cutting grass and breaking pots, you'll get that 2'000 in no time at all. NOTE: In order to play multiplayer on "Four Swords Adventures", you will need 2-4 GameBoy Advances and link cables to connect them to your GameCube. But don't worry, if you don't have the kind of money to buy all of those things, you can always just play singleplayer by yourself with just the GameCube controller!

Far From the Best Zelda
Couldn't really do the whole four player mode because the link cables would have been too expensive. As a Zelda game it's good better than Wind Waker and Triforce Heroes but it's nothing compared to Breath of the Wild, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask or Twilight Princess. It was kind of a comfy middle ground. It was very guided but still confusing at times but it experimented with the idea of multiplayer Zelda and pulled it off well.

Great for multiplayer
I played this game a while ago, a few times single player and maybe once multiplayer. Both were lots of fun. I highly recommend this game for people looking to have a good time with friends in a good pick up and play style that keeps you moving and makes things fun. This game is pretty fun solo, but lots of fun with multiplayer, if you have the equipment for it. I recently purchased a used Gamecube, 4 GBA-to-Gamecube cables, and this game just for the purpose of playing it with 3 of my friends. Makes for some fun nights with friends.

Four Swords
As much fun as this game is in single-player, it's even better in multi-player!The characters are derivative, but that doesn't change a thing. The story is fresh and new.The visuals for this game are amazing. YES, it's a 2D games, but the effects make it feel like a 3D game. The music, even though in 16-bit, is amazing!Although the gameboy and components are a pain to set up, you're in for a treat if you can get multiple players! The one downside I did not like was that you loose ALL your heart pieces, upgrades, and items after completeing a level (hence the reason why I gave the game 4 stars). All in all, a great game! An absolute triumph! I love it!

fun, once i had it out of the package ...
amazingly smooth game, fun, once i had it out of the package my brother started playing it, its got alot of adventure, 2 downside to this game which will require you to be able to play 2 player to 4player, 1st you need Cable Links to your GameCube, 2nd Having either a Gameboy Advance SP or Gameboy advance to connect with the Cable..Other than that Its awesome game to play

This was a hit with my son!
I purchased this Link adventure at the request of my son who collects Zelda video games in different formats. He had originally passed on this one because he thought it could only be played by four players on the Game Cube. When he read recently that it was playable by one player controlling the four characters he decided he wanted it. He loved the game and said that it favorably compares to Link to the Past in animation and world play. He enjoyed every minute of game play and played it almost non-stop until he finished it. He said that he would recommend this game to anyone who found Link to the Past enjoyable.

Another Zelda classic
The legend continues on the GameCube in an amazing epic adventure for one to four players. To thwart Vaati's vile forces, Link turns to the mystical power of the Four Swords to split himself into four colored copies of himself. Now you and your friends can simultaneously participate in cooperative and competitive action and master skills and techniques new to the Legend of Zelda series. In Four Swords Adventures, up to four players can link their Game Boy Advances to the GameCube to join a fun and intense competition for Force Gems while cooperating to move massive blocks, trigger switches, and slay mighty bosses.
