Working like a dream!These surely are tougher than the ones that came fitted, and, that I've bought previousy. In fact, on one troublesome area of the lawn - I broke two tines, not the belt.

The original belt on my Performance Power Lawn Rake broke after several year's use and I purchased the Solent Tools belts because of their reviews even though they are probably one of the more expensive on the market.The new belts each broke after a few minutes (I had only replaced one at a time) and they were replaced FOC by Solent Tools who advised both should be replaced at the same time (good positive response by them). In respect of the replacement belts (both fitted at the same time) the result was unfortunately the same - one belt broke (actually pulled apart) and one had started to fray on one edge. Solent Tools, perhaps understandingly, then took the view that 'there is a problem with the lawn rake'.I would caution potential buyers of this product to firstly review reason(s) for their original belt breaking and whether to invest £12+ for the two new belts - think about the machine's mechanism when considering any drive belt replacement and whether a trial with cheaper belts would be the best option.I take the view that although previous buyers thought the thicker belt was perhaps an advantage, the original and other cheaper replacements are a little bit more flexible and could perhaps cope better with the mechanical action of the two cog/gears.

These belts were a very good replacement belt for our lawn rake. They are more substantial than the one which broke and are lasting well.
