Amazing product
Set up was super easy, only took a few minutes, and signal strength was great - it worked inside a heavy cast iron pot with the lid on inside the oven.

Grill game = leveled up
This thing is seriously next-level if you're into grilling, smoking, or just want to get your steak right every time. I grabbed the 1-probe RFX setup and haven’t looked back. It connects super fast, no annoying wires, and the range is wild, I can chill inside and still keep tabs on my brisket out back.Has no wires. No stress. You literally just stick the probe in and walk away and monitor. It has ridiculous range. I’ve had it running while upstairs and didn’t lose signal once. Crazy accurate. My chicken and ribs come out perfectly cooked, no more guesswork or overcooking. Battery life is 🔋💪 I did an 8-hour smoke and still had plenty of juice left over for another day.Probe withstand temperatures up to 1,000°F and it is dishwasher-safe, suitable for various cooking methods including deep frying and sous vide. 10 Minutes of charge can get you about 50 hours of working time, which is impressive. The ThermoWorks app gives you detailed graphs and alerts, it may be a bit difficult to get it down at first, but once you are used to it, it is great. It’s not cheap. But if you cook a lot or are serious about grilling, it’s totally worth it. For brisket and things like that, you really need something good. The app is super detailed, but it might take a few minutes to figure out the first time.If you're the type who checks the grill every 5 minutes, this is your new best friend. Set it, forget it, and let the RFX keep your meat juicy and perfect. Worth every penny.

Good quality but very expensive…
So it’s definitely a nice probe set, there’s no denying that. It makes smoking meats and getting the perfect temperature super easy. They seem very accurate, I’ve checked it against my two wired probes and they all read within 5° of each other. The app is easy enough to use but there’s some things I don’t like. The whole having to make and set up an account is kind of absurd. I have another wireless probe kit that I don’t need to sign in to use…. They do have a pretty good range, and they connect very quickly. Now for the price….. wow, they really are not what I would call a good value, at $200 for the one probe kit that’s double what my other probes are and I can’t really say it’s justified. If you’re not turned off by the price it’s a good kit and easy to use.

Another great ThermoWorks product
The ThermoWorks RFX Wireless Meat Thermometer set includes the base, one plug-in probe, and one wireless probe, though more probes can be purchased when/if needed. The base has a magnet backing, making it easy to attach to the side of my grill. The software was simple to set up and it connected to my WiFi seamlessly. The plug-in probe inserts into the side of the base and has a rack clip for the side of a grill/smoker. It was easy to attach and its readings were accurate, on par with the factory-installed probe on my pellet smoker. The wireless probe is much higher quality than any others I’ve used. It synced easily with the base and showed up on the app without any extra steps needed. It has a magnetic charging base, which I appreciate since I have no doubt I’d misplace it if I didn’t have the ability to place it on the side of my fridge, and the readings were also highly accurate throughout my entire smoking process. The Android app worked well on my Samsung S22 Ultra and I found it intuitive to use and fully functional, offering all the settings I expected from a high-end thermometer. The ThermoWorks RFX Wireless Meat Thermometer certainly isn’t cheap, but it’s well worth getting, and if it’s anything like the other ThermoWorks products I own (and the quality indicates it is), it will work flawlessly for a long time.

NO SUPPORT
ThermoWorks not very responsive. I purchased the 2 probe RFX kit. Had a technical question I emailed them with no response . Then I quizzed them on the free case offer - and of course no response . I have bought multiple devices and accessories over the years and now re- thinking spending my money somewhere else. They have no problem bombarding you everyday with so called deals but if you need help your on your own.
