AI企業として今をときめくNVIDIA社製のAI開発者キットのエントリーモデル。従前、同社が発売していたAI開発者キット NVIDIA JetSon Nano の後継モデル。旧モデルでの開発者ツールはバージョンアップが打ち止めとなっており、これから購入するにはこの後継モデル購入が適切。お値段は従前のキットが2～3万円台だったものから、だいぶ値上した価格設定となっているものの、従前モデルの約５倍、最大40TOPSのAI性能等考えると相応と思料。NVIDIA社が開発したCUDAフレームワークの最新版やTensorRT等のAIのモデルを同社製品に最適化するツールの最新バージョンの利用が可能。私自身は、物体認識等のデモソフトを動かすレベルで、まだ全く使いこなせていないが、AIを学ぶ材料には事欠かない開発者キットだと思います。
