Not much can actually be said about sand paper. Works great. I purchased this from Amazon instead of our local hardware stores because the price was so much better. Works on cleaning toilet hard water stains!
I used it to clean a 1' circle of hard water deposits in my toilet. It didn't scratch the porcelain at all. It had been there for months. I tried all kinds and methods of its removal. In the end, I started with the sandpaper, then, wound up using a paste of baking soda with vinegar. Then, I was so excited about the results that I finished up with vinegar and the sandpaper.The cleaners mentioned before nor the baking soda and vinegar did nothing until I used the sandpaper!!!! So happy

Decent, but consider sanding screens instead
I bought both this and 3M's Drywall Sanding Screen (the mesh type), and I have to say that I like the screen a lot better. While the screens are rated at a higher grit (220 while these sheets are 150—even though both products are "fine grit"), the screens less prone to clogging and do a better job both for intermediate and finishing sanding. These sheets gouge and pit the joint compound a little more than I'd like, even for light sanding after a second coat.Don't get me wrong. If you can't get screens and the alternative is sandpaper without a hand sander, this is definitely the way to go. It just can't compare to the performance of the screens.
