Briggs & Stratton19063 Valve Spring Compressor

I used this to remove the valve springs in my Tecumseh engine for my snow blower. Quality construction and it made removing the valves a breeze. If you don't have one and you work on your own small engines, I would recommend getting this. It's worth the money.

I bought this for a small truck engine that I was need to replace the valve seals. The springs were small but this tool worked great on compressing. The jaws are adjustable for different size of springs. Very well built.

The tool is a must if you work with Briggs & Stratton engines. It only has one function, but that one function can not be done with any other tool that I know of with the same ease of use. Its simple to use. Works every time. Is very safe to use. I love it. It really is a must have.

Excellent tool with fast service!

Much more practical and much more effective than trying to use larger spring compressor made for cars (I tried). This little spring compressor fits nicely into valve spring box (flat head engine for my 8 HP tow-behind tiller) and made putting the spring retainer in place easy.The threads on the width adjuster feel a little on the light side, but for the few uses that I've used it so far, I have not had problems.My background: hobbiest. I am not an engine repair professional.

This is well built tool to remove spring. The adjustable jaws fit different size spring.
