Wow! Great value! And a tough little girl!
This is a sturdy little healthy rose baby. It is exactly tbe same size as the pic in discription with the man's hand holding it. I'd much rather start with a small size than dig big holes. There is nothing wrong and plant very healthy and should grow perfectly. Nowadays roses cost 60.00 or more for a larger plant. These smaller, more affordable roses allow me to buy more than one, and plant it myself. The growth will catch up faster with less stress than a five gal or even 3 gal plant. Plus, cheaper to ship. Win win! : after our harsh winter, she endured being buried in 4' of snow, rocky mts, 6200' and came out bushy and sassy! Love this rose! Ok. Now it's June. Here's a pic of this fluffy baby rose, tough as nails. She endured a very hard winter, uncovered, not protected and came back with vigor!

If This Rose Fails - It's on me!
This climber came so carefully backed I had to take photos for this review. 1st photo is how it looked when I opened the box. The top of the pot had masking tape holding in a dampened paper and tape was crisscrossed to keep the soil moist and the plant stabilized . 2nd photo is to show the perfect condition of this rose (not one yellow or dried up leaf) and the 3rd photo is to show the lovely growing soil and no root bound! I planted it immediately in my west exposure front yard and it is thriving in 90s degree temps! Like my headline says "it's on me if it fails". I will baby it for winter with mulch. I am so impressed with Stargazer Perennials and FYI - this is my 1st experience with them. I was just searching for this particular rose and their site came up.

Great quality
Came very securely packaged and look incredibly healthy. The main plant stems themselves are very big so I have no doubt that once planted they will thrive.

Teeny tiny plant
Teeny Tiny plant but looks healthy! I like that instructions were included. Although about $22 with shipping, I was expecting something larger. Can’t wait to see if this takes off and will update

Not worth buying.
This is the second rose I've bought from this company and it's heading in the same direction as the first -- death. The death of the first rose I attributed to the heat, in spite of the fact that I kept it watered and shaded with a cardboard shade. That one died from the bottom up, meaning that it's roots weren't developed well enough to have been weaned from the force-food it must have been started on. I say that because this second rose is on the same path -- dieing from the bottom up! I planted it immediately, fed it well, kept it moist. But I've now dug it up and potted it in an effort to check it numerous times each day and keep it moist. But I'm losing the battle! For someone who has grown so many roses and never lost a single one to buy two in a row that just give up and die, I believe, does not mean their deaths are due to me!

I bought this rose a year ago. It was a tiny little start. It arrived very healthy and great packaging. It is a favorite of my climbing roses..absolutely gorgeous!!! Has blooms the size of a large fist, as well as its sister rose Eden.
