Chipolo is great! I use it for my wallet and keys as I misplace them in the house a lot. It has a tracker for your maps but the downside is it's bluetooth, so once its out of range it says "Mark as Lost" and shows a last seen location, so if someone steals its and moves it, your dust. So if your the kind of person who loses stuff at home or somewhere where u can hear it, this is for you, but its not good long range. PS: The audio they emit is pretty loud so that's not an issue for most.One thing that might confuse some is that since its Bluetooth if you want to connect to another BT device, the chipolo disconnects and this is not true, as long as your BT on your phone is on, your good to go

Will disconnect intermittently (even after adjusting the battery settings to allow for background running). Was not able to find the fob via phone or phone via fob with items 2 feet apart. once the phone app is opened and everything reconnects it starts working again fir a little while.

What a great idea! It works both ways... find your phone using the key fob, or fine your keys using the phone. Have already used it around the house both ways. Phone blue tooth must be turned on. If you occasionally loose stuff, this is a nice device and I recommend it!

NOT HAPPY. On the second one, and it stopped working. The first did not work out of the box. this one died within 47 days. Do not waste your money

Cheap plastic thing that you could barely hear. Go to ebay and get 2 tile pros for $20. They're a million times better.

Would get 5 stars if the battery’s don’t die after 3 days, making the item useless

This little gadget is so useful! I love that you can find your phone when you have your keys and vice versa. I am constantly misplacing these two things and knowing I can find them at the press of a button really puts my mind at ease. This would make a wonderful gift for the forgetful person in your life! 5 stars!

The device is as advertised.

Yesterday I bought a Chipolo Classic and a competitor brand, Tile Mate. Both similar price, size and weight (one is square and one is round. So this is an initial comparison.Set up on both devices was quite easy. The Tile also came with a short instruction/warranty which explains how to replace the battery. It also ‘feels’ like a more professional product and setup.Main reason for writing the review is this: the sound on the Tile is quite reasonable, sufficient to find it if you were hunting from room to room. The sound on the Chipolo is shockingly quiet. To find it, you’d need a quiet house and the Chipolo not for instance covered by a pair of socks.No contest. The Tile is far better value. I’ll probably try to send the Chipolo back. I can’t imagine attaching it to anything valuable.

Functionality wise, it’s really good... but the volume is far too quiet. What’s the point in a device that operates within the Bluetooth range (up to 60m), but can only realistically be heard from a maximum of 3m away? Bought it to go on my dog’s collar in case he wanders off in the trees, and it works fine, I just can’t hear it, so wouldn’t be able to find him anyway! -so it’s useless really for this purpose!!

Works well, the sound isn’t incredibly loud so as long as you are in the same room you’ll find them! - we are teaching our dog to go to the keys when the noise starts.

Brilliant product that has saved the day many times so far and the ability to link them to more than 1 phone is great. This allows you to track stuff down even faster plus the history shows you were it's been last. Sometimes it can be hard to hear the alert tone when it's in a bag or smothered somewhere but you will find what your looking for and sometimes in a place you would never have thought of looking .

Used it for my keys - the alarm is not that loud, but it is reassuring to have this little gizmo
