We are an industrial metal fabrication shop.They have been put to the test. The workers do not treat them nicely.The reason they break is because we pull them a lot, and plastic eventually cracks due to the stress caused by the torque of the flex.I guess they are ok for residential use. Where you don't pull them as often.Maybe they will last you a year of light use.The price is very low though...

Bought this as a replacement for the one that came with my small air compressor. The original lasted about five years before it became brittle and broke off at one of the fittings. This does not seem any different and if I get five years out of this one I will be pleased as the cost is very reasonable. Please note that this is by no means heavy duty but works well for light use...inflating items, blowing dust etc. off of tools and work areas. Please note that if you stretch it out a lot, it will eventually not recoil as tight as it was when new. Overall a good value.

This needs to be used gently. I have had it kink and break a couple times just behind the metal. When that happens I cut it back a bit and rebuilt it, which is a pain, but it works. I used a torch (gently at a distance) to soften it before putting it back together; otherwise it just kinks and splits again. The coils are handy and save time so you don't have to wrap up your air line. Real air hose (the good quality stuff) is far more expensive, but worth it if you use it often. This is good only for light use, but for that it does its job.

So far so good. Got for Christmas with my first air compressor. I purchased 2 of these as I don't want to take up a lot of space. These had, by far, the best ratings for temp and pressure ratings. Even though the coil costs you number of feet you can go, I'm okay with it as my compressor is easily moved. Very sturdy as I accidentally drove a tire over the middle of one and can't even tell. I wouldn't try it again, but I was happy to find I didn't need another one after that. I will be running permanent hoses through the garage and using this to go between for tire and ball inflations. Great product.

Actually it works really well. Perfect replacement for the one that I broke. Would have given it five stars if it weren't the flaw that appears to exist in all of the coiled air hoses like this; the hoses need to be a little flexible at the ends. That is where I snapped my last two. Bought 2 this time at the cost of one at the store.

This hose is the nutts.Ive been using my 50ft goodyear hose to drag around my jobsite and its just to big.This hose is perfect 25' I plug it right into my compressor and It has no problems reaching the 25' as promised.It coils right back up when im done, and Im not tangled up in extension cords and other hoses.Its a must for any contractor or do-it yourself homeowners, Who like to keep there work places tidy. Works as expected, but also temperature sensitive. If the weather is cold, the lines are stiff, in the hot summer then are more flexible, but that is the nature of plastic..
