Tna: Lockdown 2011

With TNA, you take the good with the bad
TNA has some really great stuff going on. On the other hand, they have some really awful stuff going on. First, the not so good. After the first match, Bischoff comes to the ring and wastes about 10 mins of PPV time with a promo. Any match with Eric Young in it is basically going to be awful. He is in a 4 team tag match and it is pretty awful. EY=fast forward. Matt Morgan vs. Hernadez is OK. Nothing to get excited over. After the match, Sarita wastes some more PPV time with another worthless promo. Fast forward. Fortune vs. Immortal in the Lethal Lockdown is OK. It has it very exciting, holy **** moments. On the other hand, it is pretty sad to see Ric Flair tarnishing his legacy by being in a match like that. He went from retiring on the Grandest Stage of the All to wrestling in front of a few thousand people. Sad. There is a KO title match inside the steel cage. You will never see the WWE Divas inside of a steel cage. Sounds exciting right? It is until the bell rings. The match lasts about 2 mins. Sting vs. Anderson vs. RVD was a very entertaining triple threat. The only bad thing I have to say about that one is it felt kind of short. It seemed like Bischoff blathered on longer then the World Title match. That is the entire problem with the whole Bischoff/Hogan era. They always made it all about them. Not about the young guys. Not about the guys that carry the company in the ring, but about them. There time is over. It ended when they ran WCW into the ground. Let it be and get off the TV. The best match of this card is Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett in an Ultra Male Rules match. Basically, 2/3 falls inside the steel cage. This rivalry got very personal. The lines between wrestling and reality got blurred and it made for a very intense match.

TNA Lockdown 2011 Review
The 8 way Xscape match while lacking in the high-flying action,it was still a pretty good opener. The 4 way-4 team match had solid double team action and pretty good brawling. The Mickie James-Madison Rayne match was super short but super sweet. Both the Pope-Samoa Joe and the Hernandez-Matt Morgan matches were pretty good/decent brawls. The Jeff Jarrett-Kurt Angle-2 out of 3 falls match was a solid,smash-mouth,back-and-forth bout. The RVD-Sting-Mr.Anderson 3 way match for the TNA world title was a hard-hitting,innovative,fast paced brawl. The Lethal Lockdown match between Immortal(Rick Flair,Bully Ray,Matt Hardy & Abyss) and Fortune(Kazarian,Daniels and Beer Money) was a bloody,hardcore,smash-mouth,hard-hitting brawl and once again,a good reminder of both NWA's Wargames from the 1980's and the 1990's ECW. I give this event a 9 out of 10.

Excellent!
Really great event. Three solid main events, Angle vs Jarrett | Team Immortal vs Team Fortune | Sting vs Rob Van Dam vs Mr. Anderson, plus a load of other good matches on the card. I honestly don't know why it took me so long to buy this; but I'm really glad I did!

Enjoyed
The match between Curt Angle and Jeff Jarrett was the best on the card. With what was going on between the two outside of wrestling, they put on an intense match. Leaving it all inside the cage.
