Works like a charm.
Spotless water from my well. I only wanted to rinse after wash 40’ Class A Diesel Motorhome. Water is hard enough the foam cannon would not foam right so I use it wash and rinse. Water from the ground to the tanks to the pressure washer to the cannon to the Coach. (no water softener) I got six washes before the resin beds needed a change. That’s got to be at least 18 passenger carsBut they do what they are supposed to.. perfectly.. I am rewarded every time with a spotless shiny vehicle that I get to fall in love with again and again. Maybe I’ll hose the wife down and see what happens. If you’re having problems on city water blame Chlorine.

Game changer
I set this up on a "Gorilla" wagon, along with an electric pressure washer, water meter, bypass line, and other washing accessories. I tow it around the yard, to wash the RV, vehicles, and house windows. It is so nice not having to wipe or dry things off after using this. My water goes in at 255ppm TDS, and goes out at 2ppm TDS, running at 1.2gpm through my pressure washer. Fantastic. I'm hoping to get 1500 gallons through it before I have to change the media.

It works!
This thing simply works. Our water tested between 170-189 PPM TDS before this DI setup. This knocked it down to 1 PPM TDS. I did install a cheap little cartridge water filter before the DI setup. I figured that would help a tiny bit to extend the life of the resin. Once this thing showed up, I put it to the ultimate test. I have a brand new black F-350 long bed. I usually wash my vehicles at night and rush to dry them. I washed my truck midday with full sun hitting the black paint. The result? ZERO water spots. It’s real. Like I said, this filter knocked my water from 180 down to 1 PPM TDS. From what I’ve read, anything up to about 7 PPM TDS will get you a spot free rinse. Now, I’ll probably go through resin faster than most as I use the DI water for the entire washing process. Not just the final rinse. But it’s worth it to me not to have to worry about drying the vehicle after a wash. Game changer! One thing to keep in mind, make sure you back off the pressure from your spigot. If you go full blast, the resin won’t keep up. I get about 12 PPM TDS with my hose on full blast. If I crack the valve to about 1/4 pressure, it goes back to 1 PPM. That’s still plenty of pressure to get the job done. Next, I’ll try using my pressure washer with this setup.

Something’s fishy
I’ll start with the bad: fishy smell, bearable, but had to ventilate my garage after washing two SUVs. The results were amazing hardness of 199ppm brought down to 2ppm with first two washes. I didn’t even bother drying the vehicles and they both had 0 spots. I did a prewash, soap and rinse using this filter and deionizer. I used a total of 32 gallons with this method if you use it just for a spot free rinse you could make this last more than the 19 washes I predict mine will last before a resin change. It does the job it says it will do (spot free rinse). I need to figure out how best to eliminate the fishy smell after a fresh wash.

Thumbs Up
I purchased two months ago. So far have used more than 10 times. It works just as advertised. I use it with a power washer to rinse my vehicles after washing. Why the issue with having a spotless rinse. Where I live in Southern California, the temp is hot and I have two black cars. Being able to dry the vehicles before the sun dries and water spots is not always possible. Also wiping dark vehicles after washing is a major cause of micromaring the clear coat.Only issue is the water smells like rotten eggs or fish. I emailed the company and the issue was my water has a lot of particulates in it. The filters are doing their job and hence the smelly water. I have learned how to use the water sparingly so the smell is less and hopefully will get 100 washes before redoing the filtration media. At this time, would highly recommend it. Mate with a power washer so you do not waste the water. Also put some quick hose disconnects with on/off valve. I turn the outflow valve onto 50percent so the water comes out of the filter more slowly. This will keep water in the filtration system longer and remove more particulates.

I’m a fan!
The media could not be loaded. I love this product took my water from around 115PPM to 2PPM luckily our water here in SC isn’t to bad! I own a small professional detailing business, super excited to add this to the arsenal! Thanks ON THE GO. Only critique would be to add a way to transport the tanks! I just carry them but it would be very beneficial to attach them to some type of cart.

Achieve better finish with this system than you can achieve drying by hand!
Incredible results! Amazing time saver and makes me excited to wash my vehicles again. Soap seems to work more effectively, foam forms better and clings to paint better out of foam cannon, seems to have greater effect than plain water. The time saved drying my vehicles alone is worth it. I own a very dark 40ft RV and very dark 3/4 ton truck in addition to our lighter colored 1/2 ton truck and Samurai. Not having to dry them by hand is a huge timesaver and the spot free shine is much better than I expected, not a single visually detectable spot, spec, nothing! I guess I just had my doubts before but I can honestly say it looks better using this system than it did drying by hand. This system leave absolutely nothing behind, by hand leaves some marks/streaks, spotting if you look good enough and at the correct angle, this system leaves NOTHING period. Very pleased and so far seems very much worth the cost of the system.
