I used them to hold my Christmas lights down on the ground so wind wouldn't blow them over. Worked great, went thru the entire season without a single incident.

These staples are sturdy and will go through tree roots. Great product for the price.

At this length I invariably encounter rocks before I get one all the way in. Went for 6" instead, they work great.For this (12") I found an excellent other use. Tall plants leaning over are easily (and unobtrusively) propped up by one of these angled into the soil and to push stems upright, then another on another side angled to straighten that lean. Used for Easter Lilies. Also, I have a pot of tall (3') ornamental 'grass' the wind was blowing to one side. Just pushed a part of the bunch in the direction I needed and angled one of these a couple of inches into the ground . . . then another a few inches elsewhere in the bunch . . . voila! Gorgeous.

Like the length of the stakes and the quality in the package. The strength helped to stabilize the outside dog kennel so the dog couldn't tip it over when jumping on the wire.

I live in Oklahoma, and the wind is always pulling up the landscape fabric around my greenhouses. No more! These definately do the job.

They are sturdy and easy to put into the ground without bending.

Here's a tip : Water the soil before you drive the spikes into the ground & use both hands, at both ends of the top part of the spike, to evenly distribute the force/pressure, as you're SLOWLY driving it into the ground.This will help prevent the spike from bending, should you hit a stone.

Unless you are using these in 12” of carefully tilled top soil, you will hit a stone. If you hit a stone, they will bend! I was using them on grass, they all bent so I gave up. Normal garden, normal lawn.

If you need bigger than 6 or 8 inch steaks, these are it. I use them to hold a goat fence down and they are great. If I need more I will be getting these again.

Cheap useless product, metal gauge low and product bent far too easily during installation

Good quality, fastened the bottom of my chicken fence to the ground.They bend if terrain in more compacted, would be beneficial if they are built more rigid.
