Lovely book, with sizable photos, the purpose of my purchase. I was not quite so interested in the information about the author's personal experiences though.

This is the most beautifully presented 'coffee table' book (truly magnificent & heavy LARGE book) of The Grand Canyon you could hope to find. The photography is excellent and the views sensational. Every page is as stunning as the previous one and each spread takes ages to fully digest. A typographical and printing wonder as is the subject! Easily the next best thing to actually making the trip. HIGHLY recommend if you love archaeology and travel but without the effort or the costly outlay to see the Seventh Wonder of the World. Would make an excellent and affordable Xmas gift for like minded friends or family. 5 Stars for excellent packaging which could have so easily spoilt a beautiful book if not enough care had been taken. Will use this supplier again for their speed of delivery and attention to good freighting. Impressed.
