These particular bands are not the thick ones - and they ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE. those have a different listing-same brand.I love them! they are med thick I would say- and great. I have long medium thickness hair- and wear half up, braids, buns, ponys. From casual to workout use- they stay in, don't break, comfortable around wrist, look nicer, and last forever. Nordstrom has them as well- same price- however, Amazon has a better color selection - they have several more options, including the one I got.only gripe- I am sticking with 5 stars but I would say- $18 is a bit high - and as a single person- I definitely don't need 40 at one time. wish they came in a smaller option. like 20 for $8.hope this helped! thanks!Ok -7/14- updated. These hair ties are the same as the larger thicker version that is very popular but these are thinner and they personally hold my hair better. the only issue I have encountered is that the bead will slide off of the medal part where it was glued to after a few months of use. The bead however doesn't bother me when it is out of place.

This is not my first purchase. My friend introduced me this brand and I bought one about two years ago and loved it. I told my sister about it and she bought some but somehow the quality is not as good. We all bought from same official seller!For now, the quality is hit and miss. So we will see about this one.

My friend gave me one of these and I was instantly obsessed, unfortunately I didn't realize they came in different sizes and thought they would be thicker. They still work great I'll just be sure to buy the thicker ones next time!

This pony is sturdy and strong and I love the colored plastic detail on it. It dresses it up. It’s everything you want a pony to be. Holds my hair with no slippage.

These are the best pony tail holders. I have very thick, curly hair, and these are the only holders that I have never broken! They are strong enough to hold my very heavy ponytail in place. They are also easy to take out. No more tears from my 5 year old, when I take out her pony tail.

These were better than expected. They are thinner than ones I'd previously purchased from the brand, but still keep my thick hair up while adding a bit of color. Price was great.

Should have read the reviews, but I was hoping to get the same style as before and didn’t realize these were so THIN/TINY. Just a heads up! Colors are cute and I will keep these to try them but I have really thick hair and was wanting the bigger bands.

these hair bands are both durable and comfortable. between handing them out at work and using them myself the 38 bands lasted me essentially more than a year
