The Power of 10 Paperback – April 9, 2016

It's a book you can read over and over again. This best book I read in long time. It's a book you would share with family members. I'm telling all family go out buy this book. This a book you can read all children. I love the book and children love it too

These teachers were 2 of the best I've ever known. Judy Newhoff and Deanna Ruby are incredible when it comes to teaching math. This book is the best way I can imagine to spread the knowledge world wide. I can't recommend this book high enough just purchase it and you will know what I'm talking about.

I have been teaching for many years and wish I had this book from the beginning! It is cleverly written with amusing characters. My students loved the story. It was a great springboard to a very meaningful lesson!! I highly recommend this adorable book to both parents and teachers.

I like that it brushes on the decimal’s role in place value in addition to just focusing on the zero’s role, but did not like that “the smart kids” liked to make fun of other kids. I would have preferred if better role models were made of the smart kids… also did not like that the clerk also was quite aggressive and mean. Quite negative and aggressive people surrounded the poor child. I think the same amount of learning could have been achieved with out so much negativity and meanness surrounding it…

This is a wonderful addition to the toolkit of any teacher looking for a fun innovative way to teach the important concept of powers of 10.The authors make it unintimidating and break it down into manageable pieces, while showing how important it is in real life situations.Highly recommended!

The Power of Ten is an excellent addition to any school or home library. I bought it to use in my classroom and my own kids have fallen in love with Tenacious. I love how it explains the importance of place value through a storyline.

My great nephew had this book in his room. I thought he was a bit young for it but he seemedto grasp the concept and lesson. Since math can be a dry subject, this was a different and unique wayto deliver the lesson.

It is a great story but are the pages supposed to be out of order? Did I miss something in the description? Page one starts in the middle of the book and then the book goes backward.
