Spigen Air Skin Designed for iPhone Xs MAX Case (2018) - Black

I had previously purchased a Spigen Air Skin case back when I owned an iPhone 6S Plus and had an excellent experience. The Air Skin case isn’t designed to do anything but protect the back of your phone from scratches - so don’t purchase it expecting the case to save your phone if you drop it - and it was absolutely great for that. It feels good when holding the phone (I don’t find it slips in the hand) and as the iPhone XS Max is so big, having a very thin case was, for me, preferable to some of the chunkier, but more protective, options out there.This time however, even though I knew to be careful about how I put the case on due to how very, very thin and brittle the plastic is, the case split when it was placed my on my iPhone XS Max for the first time. So if you do decide to go with this product, please bear that it mind!

This case is exactly as described. It’s extremely thin and helps protect the back of the device from scratches. It will not provide much protection against drops, but that’s to be expected for a case of this type. I like the feel of the case in my hand more than the slick glass of the phone itself and it doesn’t show fingerprints at all. If you’re looking for a more resilient case that will protect the phone against drops, look elsewhere. If you want a lightweight, thin, minimal case though then I recommend this one.

I own several Spigen cases and they all have been very durable. Case like these are just meant to prevent scratches on the beautiful iPhone glass body. Similar products have broke while I put them on and take them off. I often rotate phones cases depending on what the day holds. I’ll update if it breaks once just from installing or taking off the case.

Very nice and ultra thin case if it is durable. I had a hard time to install the case because it is ULTRA thin (which is what I want!). Very nice case and easy to hold to prevent scratches on the back of the phone. However, the case cracked in the lower back after 10 days of usage. I never drop the phone (w/ case) so have no idea how it cracked.

The cutouts are not perfect.... also they are not smoothed out... and most important it’s Not the same colour after few days of use !!!

Waste of money. Has no grip. built with thin slick cheap plastic. save your phone and do not do this!!!!!!!

Pretty. Feels nice. But the edges of the case started to crumble and fall away after only a few months of use.

This case will not protect your phone at all if it fell. It looks great on the phone and is very comfortable. I like it because it looks great but it will not protect your phone at all it will crack completely.

I’m using this for my iPhone XS Max, black. Slightly translucent at the back, its a snug protective fit which looks as if it came with the phone! It’s not a hard plastic, so it is easier to remove when needed. I have had this for a while now and as it not a hard plastic, it resists scratches and also resists fingerprints. The pictures above are taken 2 1/2 months after purchase. Really happy with this item.

I’ve now had three of these as I replace them when they get too scratched. Incredibly thin and fits very snugly.Don’t offer as much drop protection as other (much thicker) cases, but works perfectly to protect against scratches.

Great product, adds very little bulk and hardly any weight to the (already heavy) iPhone Xs max. If you drop your phone regularly & you want a case to protect your phone beyond cosmetic marks this case IS NOT FOR YOU. If you to want appreciate the contours of your iPhone and aren’t too concerned about dropping the phone then you won’t get a better case. I’ve tried the ultra thin Peel, Tozo and a few other cases and while all very similar this is the best one for me.

Good quality, good fit etc. The material a bit slippery to hold. Also quite thin, which could be a good thing or not depending on your point of view. Haven't dropped it yet, so how much protection it offers remains to be seen.

Snug fitting case with minimal bulk. Only issue with that is once you put a screen protector glass on, the screen is now above the cover and offers no protection. I’ve broken a protector already. It’s a little slippery too. Will be going back to the regular size case.
