Many stories centered on Christmas
An admirable collection of mystery writers all with novellas centered on Christmas. While not are as good as others all are interesting, and this is a good read during the season.

Great Yuletide mysteries!
If you love anything Otto Penzler edits, you’ll love this one too. All kinds of Christmas mysteries, from Golden Age of Detectives, to Black Mask pulps to modern master short stories. A great Christmas gift for your mystery fan.

Would recommend this book but only if you don’t mind that the print is small
The only negative thing about this is the small print. Otherwise it’s a good buy

Marvelous Mystery Collection!
I was delighted with the time range and sheer variety of these stories and their characters! Particularly as I read it in mid-December. Not only were the mysteries intriguing but also was the look back at changes in manners and speech. Thanks to this book I have a new interest in vintage mysteries and a long list of authors to seek out.

An excellent collection of Christmas mysteries by famous mystery writers--Including a lot of my favorites such as Rex Stout, Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie's Miss Marple, and many others.

Happy Holidays
Most readers would seldom equate mystery and crime stories to Christmas and vice versa, unless one were Otto Penzler. Penzler has, in this collection, managed to assemble sixty stories, ranging, in his words, "from truly chilling, to heartwarming, to hilarious, to puzzling", with each relating to the Yuletide Season. The first is an Agatha Christie, Hercule Poirot, the last, a Miss Marple. The fifty eight in between range from well known mystery writers, to lesser known, to virtually unknown. All, however, are entertaining and a welcome relief from the traditional " A Christmas Carol", and other such stories and movies. These will make one think twice about "peace on earth, goodwill towards men".Happy Holidays.
