This microscope is super cool! I enjoy discovering how things look like under it with my kids. My daughter is learning lots through playing with it and she's always very curious to look at new things under the microscope. The device looks well made, easy to fucos. I had to play with the connection settings to get to work on my phone but it worked straight away on my husband's phone. There is a newer version of the app recommended in the instructions, but you'll be prompted to download the latest version once you install the one listed in the instructions leaflet.

overall it works and is what i expected, it can be hard to get to focus so using the wheel on the camera is important, and the controls in the app are pretty much useless. but it can help you see a very magnified (although a little fuzzy) picture of your object. a quick and easy to use microscope for basic needs

I got this for my Jr. High son who is taking biology and got to use a microscope for the first time this year. HE LOVED IT. I am so excited to give this to him for Christmas so he can continue to explore the world around him at the microscopic level. I am sure that nothing in or near my house will go without inspection. My wife has one in her office and she loves using it. She says it is helpful at identifying plants and bugs.

My classroom and students have had fun with this. It's really more of a super zoom magnifying glass rather than a microscope. But it was super easy to set up and use from my phone and the chrome book.

Difficult documentation. The microscope is advertised as able to magnify from 50 - 1000 times; however there is only a 'focus wheel' and magnification is fixed, only by moving the lens closer to the object makes for changes in the magnification. Software must be downloaded, and is very limited in its functions (circa 2011), and certainly not intuitive. Not recommended.

When I was reading how to load it on my phone since it said smart phone I thought was and iPhone and it’s not and I also tryed to download it would not work so I sent it back Thanls LR

What a cool tool to use! The size is perfect - it's small and easy to handle. Clarity is also pretty decent. I got this to use with my students during science. It's a lot easier to move around than lugging a bulky, heavy microscope. Also very neat that it's digital. Try it out and see for yourself!
