Advanced Platinum Series P600 600w 12-band LED Grow Light - DUAL VEG/FLOWER FULL SPECTRUM

This is an early review that I plan on following up on a month or so down the road. Received this light and first impressions were that it's a little heavier than expected but compared to my reflector with glass lens i'm replacing it's very light. Upon hookup, which is really simple... plug and grow... no cords that might match up or no fragile T5 bulbs to install and replace, I was surprised by the intensity of the full flower light... really do a number on the bare eyes... started plants (5 in early veg) on veg only light to get them acclimated to the led light (had read this could be an issue if too late in veg). well its been 1 week today, and they look amazing.... this is coming out from under a 600 watt mh genesis bulb. The newest nodes are closer together and plants appear very healthy. I do have an filter / exhaust fan that ran on high with my MH / HPS system and kept the room in the low 80s... with the LED i'm running my exhaust on the lowest setting (much quieter) and my temps have topped at 77 so far. After reading reviews, some great, some horrible.... i was nervous about spending this much money but with the money back guarantee i though what the hell.... so far it was a good choice in my situation... if all looks good in another week i'm going to get a second light. The only downside i've seen is the coverage... the light is intense in the 24' x about 48' core area (more intense than my 600watt MH for sure) but my big daddy reflector dispersed light outward to an area of about 4' x 4' (not as intense but satisfactory for my needs)... with the LEDs i'm going to have to place 4 P600 to cover the same area but the coverage will be much more intense with much less heat... contrary to some reviews, heat is no issue with even a minimal exhaust fan... look for an update in mid/late feb. 5 stars for now

Well , the 1st thing I'll say is that the 2 P600's came the day before the expected delivery date's.. (Feb 20 to the 25th ) they came the 19th,which was a pleasant surprise. I told the FEDEX guy they came early.. Also I was worried about the product itself being that I'm switching over to LED'S and know nothing about them but for what I had read in reviews on many lights that I was searching through... It's so easy to get taken and receive cheap junk... But I was very happy and impressed with your product !! The box was a little abused but inside everything was fine !! The lights themselves seem very well made and in perfect shape ! I took them to my 12x15 grow area/room , hung them upand plugged them in. Very bright in veg and bloom settings !! The 4 cooling fans on each unit run at a whisper ! I am very happy with your product !! This is a new grow room/area and can't wait to get it up and running with your lights .I now know what to expect from you and will be purchasing more of the same from you in the near future..I will have a review on the grow with your lights when possible .. Get the cheaper Chinese clone that looks just like this light. Exact same light. Only difference is the brand name. I bought two of these and they are literally the same as the cheaper lights.

I have used a few LEDs, Toatronics and Mars Hydro. This is a quality light. Aside from the housing being rock solid, and the unit itself being really well put together, I have found that either the spectrum or the lenses that appear to be on the LEDs make this light perform much better than (the much cheaper) LED lights. The option for just using the blues for veg helps you save on electricity as well when you don't need the red spectrum as much for seedlings etc. I would give this light 5 stars but I think that the light is still slightly over priced and I'm not a fan of companies using existing company names to ride coattails (there is a company that makes high end LED lights called Advanced Led [...].

I have tried several types of less expensive LED fixtures by the "competition" and discovered that there is no contest. These lights far exceed the output and efficiency of any other type of lighting I have EVER seen.Based upon actual measurement with professional digital meters, the P600 actually consumes slightly less wattage than advertised. Further, I would say that the coverage area is a little larger than they claim, as well. Although these lights produce next to no heat, be prepared to lift them if the cause stress. I have found, for my installation, that they had to go significantly higher than recommended. This works out to be a good thing, because due to the wider coverage at that height, it appears we'll need about 25% less lights than predicted.In addition to raising the lights, we have adjusted our nutrient solution. Because the plants are running so much more optimally (at only the useful wavelengths of light, compared to HID which wastes half or more of the energy consumed in production of heat and colors of light that do not support photosynthesis), they seem to be drawing up nutrients from solution quicker/easier as well. Particularly, nitrogen had to be cut WAY back. The plants so quickly turn such a dark green as never seen before. Excess nutrient has led to burning. (This is a recirculating hydroponic setup.As many others have indicated, these are extremely well-constructed units. They are solid.I called customer service, for an hypothetical warranty question (not related to any quality or defect present) and these guys are GREAT.Finally, here's a company that gives you the truth, realistically and accurately represents their products' performance and supports their products 100%.Thanks for what you do!Keep them coming - More orders are on the way.
