8 Inch Mica Lamp Shade Replacement Clip on Lamp shade

This is gorgeous with light inside it. Craftsmanship is functional and straightforward.It is (as I suspected on ordering) quite small for most lamps. But it works where I have it installed, and casts a soft amber light in the evenings.

On our recent trip to Pittsburgh my husband and I went to the house, where his mother grew up, and where he spent some time in his childhood. His favorite thing there was a "Roman Soldier" entry light attached at the base of the stairs that took his imagination on adventures through time. When we knocked on the door, and asked the lady, who lives there now if we can take a look at that statue, she said "let me see if i can find it". She came back in a few minutes, holding the light fixture in her hands, covered in dust and dirt, with the base, crudely pulled from the landing pillar. We bought it from the lady and restored - not to a perfect shape, but to what my husband kept in his memory from the time he was a child. It was not easy to find a shade for it as I have never seen a similar fixture, and my husband did not remember what kind was on it before. This Mica clip-on shade is perfect! Thank you!

This shade is perfect! I had purchased a small lamp from the gift shop at Oatlands mansion in Leesburg, VA but was not fond of the white, barrel-style shade. It just didn't look right. After searching the web and rejecting many of teh small shades I saw on lots of web sites, I came upon this one and ordered it right away. It gives such a nice, soft, warm glow when the 40 watt bulb is turned on. Beautiful!

It's on top of an ancient black Buddha lamp in my library. The atmosphere given out by the shade is perfect! Everyone that sees it LOVES IT! Thank you so much for offering this unique shade.

This shade works so well and adds a lot of beauty to the corner it is in. I am so glad I got it.

The shade is truly art. It has a translucent glow when the light is on, the mica is highlighted. It is as beautiful when the light is off.

These shades are really pretty and have a lovely glow. They only fit with round light bulbs, though.
