Long and effective
The pole is long enough when expanded, any longer would become hard to balance. Quality was very good, cuts through branches like butter.

works awesome on limbs hard to get
Bought to cut limbs down I couldn't reach. Value is good and works very well. easy to operate and it weight. I have used multiple time since i bought it and has done the jobs perfect. Very durable and easy to use. Has the power needed to cut upto 5 inch branches and has a sling.

Good for tall people…not so much for the height impaired.
Bring out your sailor language!4 of 5 only because the strap is completely useless. I specifically chose this item over others for the strap. I’m only 5’ tall and old, and wimpy, so leverage is a must. Zero leverage. The strap attaches near the starter, slightly adjustable. Too low. Useless strap. However, the tool does a nice job once you channel your inner hulk and do a lot of swearing. My neighbors got a show as i invented new curse words. It does the job well; cut through volunteer trees like buttah. But you need to be tall to spend any time with this tool. It’s quite a decent tool, almost no assembly, just not designed for a short girl. If the strap were higher up so i could brace the battery pack and trigger on my hip and have the reach i bought this for, that would add a star.

Great quality!
This saw far exceeded my expectations. Good quality build. Some complain about the balance being too too heavy. I find it just right. I wanted an electric corded pole saw so I didn’t have to worry about the carb gumming up. Runs great off my small portable generator (Wen 2350). Cuts great. Pole is plenty long enough. Love the handle design. The only negative I can give it is the oil cap for the bar oil leaks. Not really an issue though. Just don’t store it upside down. This is exactly what I needed in an occasional use tool. I am not a professional, but do own two gas powered Stihl saws and know my way around maintaining property. A+ for this one

Couldn’t be happier with its performance
This 8-Inch Electric Telescoping Pole Saw is a fantastic tool that has made tree trimming so much easier! The telescoping feature is a game-changer, allowing me to reach high branches without the need for a ladder. The saw is powerful and cuts through branches like butter, yet it’s lightweight enough to handle comfortably. The adjustable length is perfect for tackling both close-up and hard-to-reach areas. I also appreciate the quiet operation and the fact that it’s electric. This tool has significantly simplified my yard work, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. Highly recommended for anyone looking to maintain their trees with ease!

Its NOT 12' but it works!!!!!!
I have a fairly big yard and could have justified buying a higher power gas one or a cordless trimmer, but I’m cheap, besides I’m no professional logger, so for the few times a year I’m going to use it, I don’t mind dragging the cord around, I’m slow anyway so it works out.First off, assembly couldn’t be easier, the head goes on with a quick latch, and it comes with enough bar oil to fill the small tank once, it goes fast so be sure to buy extra. The quick latch head also makes storage very easy. I did have a situation where I managed to open the quick latch on the tree or another branch, sending the chainsaw hurling to the ground in my general direction. It didn’t come close enough to fire off a nasty letter, but close enough to get me thinking. Luckily I have my Masters in Backyard Engineering, I actually studied under the world famous Dr. Jerry Rig. I went to my laboratory (it’s a garage) and devised a duct tape safety latch which cured the problem.I bought this in a lighting deal and for what I paid I wasn’t expecting much but figured what the heck. I put this little saw to the test, cutting large limbs and even small trees. It doesn’t have as much reach as other models but it’s certainly adaquate, and relatively light and easy to control, really perfect for light pruning and trimming high woody shrubs. So far I have spent three full days cutting with it, and abusing it a bit and besides the one mishap, the only other issue was when I bound it up and the chain came off, and with the quick change tool less design, putting it back on was a breeze. It has run flawlessly, I’m very satisfied with the purchase. One note, and it didn't matter to me, as I didn't buy it for the reach, but IT IS NOT 12' more like 7'.I posted a picture of it next to an 8' ladder for reference.

1 safety flaw
Pro: price, cuts branches well, extension reach is adequate.Con: chain on bar becomes loose frequently however, One should check slack on bar after each cut anyway.Safety issue: after extending saw the saw cannot keep extension and slips back towards the user. I PLAN TO CONTACT WEN to see if they fixed this issue with this otherwise decent tool. If not for safety issue this would be a 5 star garden tool.

It works
Worked well, a little heavy when reaching up. The power was good.
