James Cameron's Titanic

I absolutely adore James Cameron's film - so I was happy to be able to find this book still available ...
I purchased this book for both nostalgic and sentimental reasons. I had always wanted this book when I was younger & the movie came out, but I never got it. For years now I have had a very strong interest in: The Gilded Age, Titanic history and of course, I absolutely adore James Cameron's film - so I was happy to be able to find this book still available for purchase. The book is loaded with movie production notes and photos, it is really interesting to be taken behind the scenes and learn about the dialogue, set construction, set production, historical accuracy, costumes, character analysis, filming, etc. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who is fan of the film or just wants to learn more about the behind the scenes. Nearly all the DVD/Blue-Ray releases of "Titanic" include some type of special features: what is great about this book is that it contains vivid photos and you get to read about the input of the director, producer, actors, & additional film staff.

Love it.
I finally got this book! It was not available for purchase for so long. I’ve wanted it since I was in 5th grade and my teacher had it in her classroom library, but it was so expensive so I knew never to ask my Mom for it and now I have it and I still love it. If you love the movie, you will love this book.

The Book Tells The Story Of The Movie That Told The Story
James Cameron has done every person interested in Titanic the Movie, a huge favor. This book gives you some idea of the massive undertaking that is this Movie. I have been interested in Titanic since I was 10 years old. I know a lot about the Titanic, but James Cameron has brought life to the passengers and crew of the doomed liner. Note in the one scene where Cameron has Jack "lift" a coat from a deck chair, while a small boy plays with a toy top, and his father looks on. This scene was taken from real life, as a photo was taken of this actual scene by a passenger who departed at either Queenstown, Ireland or Cherbourg, France. Cameron duplicated every item. Some are only seen for a fraction of a second, as witness the racks of china falling over as the ship begins it's final plunge. That china is absolutely correct and Cameron had it duplicated from the original maker. The boat davits were made by the makers of the original. Quality tells, and this book tells more... Cameron used the love story to tell the tragic story of hundreds of lives entertwined and ultimately, lost that fateful night 86 years ago April 14-15. It is a MUST READ.

I had this book after the movie came out years and years ago when i was 10 years old. I bought it for nostalgic reasons. It's such a beautiful book. Inside and out. I love it and always will. A little bummed
I bought this for my daughter who loves the movie. It’s gotta be a reproduction or something because the pictures are really grainy. I can’t imagine it was originally published like that. It’s also showed up with a lot of shelf wear and some bent pages and a tear. Doesn’t feel very gift worthy.

Signs Of Wear
Book was bought used so there was a bit of damage to the binding and the cover jacket. With that said it is on good condition and I'm very excited to add this to my Titanic collection.

Awesome!
I love these posters! The only thing is that it can be difficult to rip them out at first, but once you get the hang of it they came out easily. Perfect for a Titanic fan!
