Ordered two for hall and landing. I absolutely love them. The fitting was a little small for the shade I'd bought but my husband filed a little bit off the shade fitting - it wasn't a problem, but something you may have to watch out for. There is ample cord if you like a longer length but this will tuck away inside the fitting if you don't need it. I bought two beautiful amber glow bulbs to go with them and they look superb.

I was surprised and impressed at the sturdy construction. The lamp socket is very well made and finished. The only concern if you want to use a lamp shade is you need one with a removable size adapter. This bulb socket is a larger diameter than a typical UK bayonet socket.

I bought 3 of these. They look great and are very well made. The only problem is that that you cannot put a lampshade on them as the fitting where the bulb goes it wider than normal.

Loved the contrast with the grey wiring and chrome pendant and rose. Looks fashionable . Great value for money. Fairly easy to install although I did have an electrician friend actually do it, so it was easy for him

So suitable for the shade that we had bought for the kitchen

Product description states body is 38mm wide. It’s actuall 43mm wide. So I must return. This is unfortunate because the product itself looks good quality.
