Perfect For Brake Line Bends Under The Car
I do my own brake and other hydraulic lines on cars, and if you're using the new ez bend stuff (Nickel Copper Line sold by the foot at most auto stores), these are some invaluable little tools to have handy. A bender is nice too, but these make bends under the car pretty easy if you're trying to match it while underneath. They're very fairly priced too. Buying the same thing at the auto parts store will cost you quite a bit. Skip that, pick these up with some other items, and get the free shipping, and save yourself $.I got these initially for a hobby application, nothing professional, but I'm glad I have them for both now.

Worked well on thick walled tubing.
Only trouble I had was when bent tubing to fast, that made getting the spring impossible to get off till I straighten bend some. Other than that it did good, wish they were longer but I say well worth what I spent.

Good for 1/4" CO2 tubing inside tubing bend.
I Used this to bend 1/4" polyethylene tubing for aquarium Co2 line. It Worked well with some modification. The springs are not marked for size so I had to experiment with most of the springs to see if they fit tightly insde the 1/4 flexible poly tubing manufactured for R.O water lines. I have found that the poly is more durable and seals at connection points better that silicone tubing that is sold for dosing Co2 for planted aquariums. I specifically needed this to make a hooking 90 degree bend over the aquarium edge to maintain the position of the atomic co2 diffuser low in the tank which will extend the dwell time of the co2 bubbles in the water column. I modified the tightest fitting bender spring by partially cutting off the flare and then flattening the remainder to make a attachment point for a 6' length of strong thin wire. I fished the wire through the poly tubing pulling the spring to my pre measured bending point. Altough the tubing was black I could easily feel the spring inside the tubing. I then made my almost 90 degree bend with the spring on the inside and it did prevent it from kinking. I submerged the bend in almost boiling water for about 1 minute. And then quenched it into ice water which fixed the bend in place perfectly. I pulled the wire with bending spring atteched out of the poly. I then installed the tubing on the co2 tank it worked perfectly to hold the 90 degree bend shape.

Works well, may need to use extra tubing
The product works as advertised, it bent my sterling silver tubing well. The only problem I had was getting it out of the tube bender after bending, however that could probably be combated by using more tubing (although I would prefer to not waste more silver tubing just to be used as a handle). Otherwise it works great!

Quality product
Works well with stiff brass tubes but don't use if you need to make 90° bends there are other tools for that.

Best tool for the job
Really easy to work with and make bending brake pipes a breeze. This is the only type I’d use unless the pipe is already flared in both ends.

Gas line bender
They work fine for tight bends in copper, used them for gas lines in my old camper.

Does what is says it will do... a little harder to use than expected
These tube benders work as advertised. They go on the outside of the tubing and do seem to prevent crimping while bending. I found it diffiult to get them off after making a 90 degree bend. Perhaps I just need to watch more Youtube videos.
