Worried? Don't Be. This Shield is Fantastic!
Update June 2019: I originally purchased this product in December of 2018. I went through two shields in about six months time. The first shield (reviewed below) lasted almost four months although the top edge started to lift up within a month or so after applying it. After four months it became necessary to apply a new shield. At that time, there were only two shields per box.Now they offer six per box, which is good because apparently a new shield is required every few months. The second one I applied in April of 2019 was scuffed up while lifting/pushing a lost dog into the back of my car. It started to peel off by the end of the day (not the dog, the shield), with debris gathering around the edges.I debated whether to repurchase this same brand. But I suspect that all 'wet-application' films will have this same problem, that is, durability over time. The film itself is fantastic while on, for as long as it lasts. Again--you can't even tell you have anything on your watch, yet it protects the watch face completely. So I decided to stick with what I know and purchased another box, this one containing six films. A good deal!Reiterating my experience: the first shield lasted four months; the second one lasted about two months. The only difference in the application of these shields was that I used a hair dryer in applying the second one. I am not sure if that made a difference or not. For this third shield applied a few days ago, I followed the standard procedure of allowing the solution to dry on its own, no hair dryer, pressing down the sides after 10-15 minutes, and then leaving it to dry overnight. Once again, I have perfect clear coverage. We'll see how long it lasts!************************I always sweat-it when it comes to applying plastic film or tempered glass shields to my devices. So often they are difficult to apply. When I received this shield and discovered it required a 'wet' application, and then after reading some of the reviews, I was concerned. I went to the website, watched the video twice (the second time while applying the shield), and I was surprised and very pleased with the ease of it all.I learned from these reviews not to over-wet the shield. Just apply enough of the spray to cover the sides of it and yes, your fingers too. Work on a flat, well-lit surface, and have everything set out before you start. The shield is hard to see once you get it on the watch so you really need to feel around the edges and push it around to ensure that it is precisely on the watch around the corners. Do so quickly as it does start sticking fast (unless you have over-sprayed it!). Once you've done that, then just smooth out the flat surface as instructed and then press down all around the sides to make sure the corners contour to the curvature of the watch. I did that several times during the first five minutes. It really is very simple as long as you fully understand the process and prep everything before you start. I had a hairdryer handy but I never had to use it. I thought that leaving the watch off to dry overnight wasn't needed as the shield seemed really solid after just a few minutes, but I left it off overnight anyway. Just to be safe.I can't even tell that there is a shield on the watch. The clarity (HD quality) of the watch face is identical to what it was prior to applying the shield. Touch-responsiveness is the same, too. I use a microfiber cloth to polish and clean the surface periodically although that is seldom needed.I'm not going to bother getting a bumper case to protect the sides of the watch although I see no reason why any case wouldn't fit onto the watch in addition to this shield. Bumper cases detract from the beauty of the watch and add weight and bulk to it. This shield will likely not protect the watch if it is dropped at height face down onto a hard surface, but that's why I have purchased the Apple Care+ warranty extender. Everyday kind of scratches, however, should be prevented. Time will tell. If there is any problem, I will update this review.I couldn't be happier with this shield and highly recommend it.

Worked great...for a week or 2
I order this for my son's new Apple iWatch he got for Christmas. Took a couple days to get. The instructions were very clear. I watched the video that was recommended. Did all the steps they said but I had issues with the corners. No matter how many times I tried to get them to stay down they would not stay all the way down.It was still good enough for him to wear and he did. After 4-5 days he told me the corners came up.It was dirty so I replaced it as 6 pcs came with the kit. This time after I got the corners down they stayed down a little longer maybe just over a week before the same thing happened again.I again replaced it but this time I used a memory foam pillow to help with the corners. Once the protector was on the watch and the corners were down I placed the watch face down in the pillow and put books on top. The pillow was great as it conformed to the watches shape and the corners were sunk into the pillow. I let it sit overnight for over 15 hrs then took it off. It looked perfect. My son wore it for about 2 weeks or more before the corners came back up. At this point I kinda gave up, he's asking for a hard cover now and will buy that. Maybe in the future I'll put it back on but right now I'm going to wait.I like the product if the corners would just stay down**UPDATED REVIEW**To my surprise I received a box from the company about a week after my review. I thought maybe I was shipped the product again by mistake. There was a note form the company and they wanted to have me try a re-designed screen protector again but it was an improvement over the one I had.I had to wait a few weeks before I was able to get my son's Apple watch from him. I then started the whole procedure over again. This time I found when applying the solution and screen it was a little harder initially to get all the liquid squeegeed off the watch and needed to wipe off the watch and reapply the solution again. This one took a little longer but eventually I was able to get the corners to stay down. It seemed that the solution dried quicker and I only had to wait about 10 mins before I started getting the sides and corner to stay. The one thing I did was get my son's memory foam pillow, laid it face down with the screen on the pillow and put a bunch of books on top. I waited 24 hrs and gave it to my son. After 2 weeks he said the screen is working great, he's having no issues at all.if anything changes I'll update my review but so far so good. It's customer service like this that makes me want to stay with a company. I'd even pay extra for their product if they stood behind it line Armorsuit. Thanks Anne for sending me the re-design : )

You could find better, but it’s not the worst. (READ)
The media could not be loaded. When I got the box it was somewhat damaged, but everything inside seemed fine. I am not sure if I have applied it wrong or what but I’ve tried it twice now. The first one I had it on for a while but after a short time it just came off. When I had put it on, the edges never quite went down all the way so there was a guess dust collected there removing the sticky. (The edges wouldn’t stay down anyways) The 2nd time I tried it a tad different but still followed the instructions, because the first time I thought I had did it wrong and thought that was the cause but was proved wrong the 2nd time applying. I might be wrong but I believe I did it right this time. I applied it and once again the edges wouldn’t go down, eventually in the end only one stayed down. I even tried one of the tips given on the box and tried to use my blow dryer on the edges and this still didn’t work. I even had something making sure the cover was being held down onto my watch screen the entire time I waited. I waited over 24 hours and it still never was the best. The majority of it stayed down on my screen besides the edges and all bubbles did go away after a day or two but the edges never would go down. I’ve only done it twice and it comes with 6, but I expect this to happen every time. The touch screen still works great with these and these help so I don’t scratch up my Apple Watch screen. I will continue to use these until I run out but I won’t buy this again. Maybe you might have better luck and who knows maybe in one of the next attempts I have the edges might go down. This one seems to be staying on for a while but we will see. It doesn’t bother me the most the only problem is the edges not going down.
