For what it cost, this hitch is built very well. I skidded several logs with it no problem. And a 5/16 grab hook fits through easily enough, which is perfect for the skidding chains I just bought (5/16 grade 70 transport chain).

This monster is HEAVY! The receiver bar feels like it's solid steel and not a square tube. You could probably hang a Dumptruck over a cliff on this Shackle and Hitch. I will be using it pull tree roots (along with a few other tools).

This monstrosity of steel is perfect! All the other positive reviews hold true and I am nicely surprised with the quality of this shackle hitch. The price is better than 'right' and the shackle is much better than I had expected.

I like everything about this, it's rugged as all get out, and the finish is nicely done. Spec wise I could lift my truck with this, so using it as a chain point on my sub compact tractor is just 'no contest'.

Nothing about it not to like. The hitch block is solid, and the clevis is also thick and heavy duty. I used it to pull old shrubs and stumps with no problem. This item will definitely pull what you need to pull.

Shackle hitch is SOLID. Used to pull out 2 vehicles and countless downed trees without a hitch! (pun;). Would recommend this one to all you off-road maniacs like myself. Even came with a nice hitch pin. Would definitely purchase again.

Great product, was every pleased with the quality and value. Heavy duty with a great finish, will last me a lifetime. Like the multiple holes allows me to mount in different orientations. Will not be disappointed if you decide to purchase one.

Item appears well built and is quite heavy. Time will tell regarding the finish. Have not used to date, but for the price I believe it will be well worth the investment.
