RaybestosH7170 Professional Grade Drum Brake Hardware Kit

The top two middle springs called return springs are not in the kit but shown in the picture. I guess I should have checked with rock auto that shows the correct parts. I needed these springs for my 89 Dakota, so now I'll have to reuse the old springs.

i purchased this kit to replace the unknown age and condition springs that were on my jeep wrangler. when i removed the old springs i compared them to the new ones that came in this kit. every spring was stronger. this may be to the age of the hardware i removed but i felt confident that these springs would hold up over time. this kit comes with every spring you need to do a basic brake job. it even includes the wavy washer spring that goes on the brake shoe adjuster and the rubber plugs that go into the backing plate. i will definitely purchase this kit when i do the rear brakes again.

I was not impressed with the quality of some of the springs contained within the kit regarding tension. My original springs that are 12 years old appeared to be stronger to the point I reused them. The kit did contain all the hardware necessary to complete the task.

This is a kit for both rear wheels. You may also need your respective Raybestos adjuster kits, one for each wheel. Got this kit when it was down to 5.47 and with free supersaver shipping...you just can't beat that. Item as described and on time delivery. Thanks Amazon.

Not bad

Glad I got this kit as most of the drum parts I had were pretty corroded looking. This kit does not contain all the hardware required for the parking brake though -- be sure to get that one too if you need/want those parts as well (I was able to re-use mine).

Fixed my brakes on my old car, now I can stop without ramming into the back of someone. My insurance provider approves of this product ;)Decent make and quality, the price is good compared to the local offerings.
