Great tent!
This tent is awesome! Very well designed and well-made. Looks beautiful! We had some difficulty inserting the top horizontal rod in - ended up leaving it out of one of the sleeves, otherwise we couldn’t get the ends into their places. Other than that, the assembly was straight forward. Perhaps, we did it in the wrong order, hope it will be amazingly easy the next time. Light rain was not a problem, haven’t tested it in a heavy rain. For the reference, my car is Kia Sorento - fits perfectly. In conclusion, I love this tent!

Very roomy and fits Subaru Outback well
Rather than repeat what others have said, here are my experiences with the more controversial points:Ease of setup - I had no problems setting this up out of the box by myself on a slick hardwood floor inside my house. Took about 30 min but I have used many tents over the years so have experience. Poles fit nice and tight.Design - I dock 1 star because this is not a true free standing tent. Even without any wind this tent will not stay up unless you follow the directions and stake it to the ground. However, it's a very tall tent relative to floor space so even if was free standing, a slight breeze would likely require staking to the ground anyway.Stakes - yes, no brainer get better quality ones. A lot of tents require better stakes.Durability - too early to tell for long term but at the price range I would say it's about average on how stress points and zippers are reinforced. Definitely not designed for a lifetime but could be several years depending on where you use it.Overall value - I think it's a little more expensive versus a comparable stand alone tent, but there are not many options that attach to your car and gives full tent functionality. So you pay a premium for that. If the ability to attach to a car is just a gimmicky feature for you, you get more value just buying a standard tent.Recommended accessories - stakes as mentioned above, an 8x8 footprint that can double as a tarp, some modular foam floor mats to use on the interior of the floor. Unlike most tents, this one is designed for standing inside.Feedback to Rightline - design the next version where the rain fly can be assembled with out the tent for a stand along canopy.

Good tent overall, Great customer service
*7/20/2020- one of the longer poles ended up snapping. I didn’t notice this until taking down the tent. Reached out to Rightline’s customer service and they sent out a replacement covered under warranty. They were super great to work with and very fast getting the replacement pole out. 5 stars for customer servicechanging review to 4 stars instead of 3. Tent worked great this weekend. even rained a little bit and we stayed dry. 06/29/2020The main issue with this tent was getting the end to insert into the tab for the pole that goes from front to back on the top. I had the tent stretched out as much as I could and made sure that the pole itself wasnt getting hung up in the fabric and it still tore. we have a campout planned this weekend so instead of trying to deal with returning it, I sewed it...There was also a little snag on the front of the tent from factory that will probably end up turning into a hole..if you purchase this tent be very careful trying to get that pole in. This isnt my first rodeo with a tent and I couldnt believe how hard it was to get that in. other than that the tent is a great size and the rest of the qualify is there for a $300 tent. Looking forward to using it this weekend!

Poor quality and VERY DIFFICULT to put up by one person alone
This tent is a great idea that is very poorly executed using cheap materials. If you are planning to buy and use this tent as a single person, STOP, and go elsewhere. After watching Rightline's instructional videos on YouTube on how to put this tent up, I found that they left out the parts showing the "solo" Rightline Employee STRUGGLING to get the poles in the pockets -- especially the top pole. After 2 full hours of sweating and some very foul language, I finally managed to get the tent up. (Incidentally, after my 2 hour struggle, I took the tent down, took the center pole back out, and had a friend try to put the pole back in by himself. A lot of bad language and, "Why did you buy this thing, you will never get it put up by yourself.") To be honest, due to putting so much tension on the center pole, I was afraid it was going to snap . . . and don't think the two side poles are any easier to deal with. In addition, as noted in other reviews, the "mesh sleeves" for the poles are horrible, I knew this at the time of purchase, however, I can guarantee they will not last over 4 - 5 setups, and they will be completely trashed. The floor is as thin as the walls and will not last unless you put some kind of carpet or rug down over it. The one and only door opens on the top and sides only, the bottom is fully attached, so every time you step in, you catch the bottom and/or step on it, which will also be trashed over a few uses. For the price of this tent, none of these items should be an issue. I am very disappointed and disgusted, and I put it right back in the box for return.
