Okay at first when I bought this I was expecting it to be kinda big (not reading anything and all) or just something to be wrong with it. Well, I was completely wrong. When I opened this up and looked at it I was just aw struck. It's the perfect size, metal, awesome to look at and wear and just all around outstanding. I bought this for my girlfriend as a gift but I find it hard to give it away it's that cool. Metal, strong and has a sort of antique look to it that I really appreciate. The only thing that I don't like too much is I was expecting the light to flicker like a dying flame however it just kinda fades in and out. The fade time is quick and it still looks amazing don't get me wrong but it's not what I thought :) Five stars all the way still though. And as an added bonus, it's shipped extremely fast and comes with two sets of extra batteries for the light. Buy it as a gift, yourself anything doesn't matter because you or whoever you get it for will LOVE it.

Cute but kind of cheaply made. I bought a second one for my daughter as the first on broke which was quite possibly her fault sort of. The light mechanism is very small and cheap and also what the batteries are inserted into. I think she put a new set of batteries in backwards and I believe thats how the 1st one broke. The price was OK for what its. I give $9.99 for it. It's not worth anymore than that. It came with batteries already installed that were dead but it also came with a packaged set extra batteries that did work. There is no on/off switch so the batteries must be removed to turn it off. It's a cute fun novelty item but not worth more than the $9.99 I paid.

great gift! I bought three of these, one for myself and my two best friends for Christmas. All three lights worked but the batteries in two of them were dead and had to be replaced right away, luckily replacements were already in the box. Mine wouldn;t stay shut at first but this is an easy fix with some needle nose pliers. One of the LED lights of the 3 I bought looks to have died which I honestly expected. They are small cheap little lights, two of them are still going strong! I would really like to know where to buy replacement lights, it would be great if you offered a bundle of these little lights as I dont expect them to live forever and would like the ability to replace. Could you please tell me where you got them?Things you should know when buying:-Short chain. Necklace will probably rest right below collar bone on most individuals-Cheap light: It works for a while so far we have gotten several days out of two of them and this is all we were hopeing for but they are still working, not sure how long, I will update once they die.Honestly for the price I love these little things! I would definitely recommend them for any cosplayer or steam punk lover! After the LED dies I found pretty little stones to put in them so even if I cant buy more lights there are a lot of things you can do to customize these for yourself.

Beautiful craftsmanship and very nice quality. Bright enough to be noticeable without being distracting. Batteries are supposed to last for around 15 hours (only worn it for about 2 hours so far and still going strong) and comes with an extra set which is very nice. The chain is thick enough that shouldn't break easily and the clasp feels very secure. The fade on/off light is an interesting touch. Excellent final touch for my steam punk costume, but am planning on wearing this at other times as well!

It works as advertised, though (I had to mess with the batteries it came with for a bit as one of them was dead, so...) it seemed as though the circuit board was defective initially. The craftsmanship is fair but not brilliant; the small hinges are loose-ish, leaving the pendant to open a bit at the seam, which gives it a kind of a pack-man-with-his-mouth-agape look on one side. I also had to tighten the clasp (by gently squeezing it together with needle-nose pliers) so that it wouldn't constantly pop open. The light itself does look great, though it doesn't stay lit contiguously and winks out completely for a few seconds at regular intervals between bursts or flickering red brilliance (the light itself has no off switch, so your obliged to remove the batteries when you're done). I'm not sure if the circuit board is hand-crafted or was purchased somewhere, but with a few tweaks it would be close to ideal.The lattice work is quite intricate - even beautiful - giving it that lovely Victorian era steam-punk aesthetic (in that one respect, it's perfect). Still, overall I'd say it wasn't worth the $20. I'd like to see a more expensive version with some of the bugs worked out. The same bobble is $30 at other online retailers, so get it here if you're gonna...

It was cool it looked cool but my girl unfortunately lost the light from inside it because the clasp kept catching on her clothesAnd I wish it had an external switch rather then just remove the batteryBut still it was cool while it lasted witch wasn't long
