Kenwood XR401-4 eXcelon 400-Watt 4-Channel Amplifier

It met my expectations very well. Very compact and powerful. Brand already established, excellent equipment.

I have this amp powering 3 component speakers up front and 2 way speakers in the rear of my '98 Jag, coupled with a Kenwood Excelon 2 channel amp for my 10" pioneer shallow mount subwoofer absolutely amazing! All speakers except for subwoofer are Infinity Kappas. I'm hearing sounds I never heard before like the guitarist sliding his fingers along the strings.

I was super extremely impressed I have this amp bridged powering a pair JL audio ZR800 mid bass. Super clean and very low noise. This is coming from a Mosconi AS200.4.

Power punchy sill kenwood but there are much bater amps .

Be warned, this amp gets extremely hot and Ned’s to be in a well ventilated area and may need to have a fan installed running across it. Gets hot enough to burn unprotected skin. Hasn’t overheated and shut down, yet, but it is in a well ventilated area. Just added a fan to it.

I got this for four 6x9's KFC . It sounds crystal clear,easy to adjust , easy to install.

Very clean sound, compact size and adequate power. I would like to know what the true output, kenwood does not provide amp certificate. I bet it is over the rated amount.
