Just what I wanted

Wow, really well writen he tells you everything you need to know. The only other thing he could do is build the engine for you. Cons are he could show more options that are avalible but then the book would be too big.

This is an excellent book that contains knowledge that is fast becoming lost, well written with great photos will be a big help to anyone building a flat head.

A very informative book about engines that played a big part of my early experiences with engines and cars.

great book for any one rebuilding a flat head, I am still reading

Not really what I was looking for. It does not have enough diagrams and very little step by step on how to rebuild an engine. You have to know what you are doing already and then you wouldn't need a book. Not a very good book for someone like me who is NO mechanic.
