The One Year Did You Know Devotions

I love the random facts because the kids like them. The devotions are heavily masculine in language and fundamental in theology. They are also shallow, but what else would you expect in one page? I’m a pastor and sometimes adjust things to fix problematic theology, but in general, it’s a good starting point and the kids really love the stories.

I do these short, interesting devotions each night with my 11 year old and 7 year old. They are fun because they tell a bit of trivia and then relate it to a scripture verse. Trivia topics are varied and I even find them interesting as an adult. The tie to scripture is sometimes awkward and has left me wondering why the author chose THAT verse for the topic but overall, I love this book and so do the kids.

The first book was originally a gift to our granddaughter. After my husband starting reading it, he wanted a copy for himself! I purchased both 1 and 2 - They are short enough stories, the grandkids sit and the questions that relate to the bible teachings are excellent life lessons and direction topics for all ages!

These devos are sooo good! You learn something new every time AND applies to God's Word. Short, sweet, and to the point interesting devos. Not a better devo book out there probably! :)

We got the devotions 1 book and love it so much we had to get the 2nd one. We couldnt enjoy this devotional more. Great for all ages. Educational, Biblical and fun!

bought this as a gift for a neighbor's curious child and the whole family enjoys it

My 5th graders finds the facts and information very interesting! He loves to do devotions with this book. He reads ahead...too interesting to wait until the next day:)

Another good book easy to read by any age but i feel it more for a youth age upward excellent for small group meetings

excellent interesting and easy for any child to pick up and choose a day verse to read even a child learning to read

Used with a group of 5th graders and these devotions are brief and interesting with valuable Biblical connections.

My 9 year old love this book for her devotion, once the school had a topic that she found an answer from this devotion . Awesome!!
